  1. I used to always buy the weekday only pass. They didn’t sell them last year, I guess they’re not doing that anymore. It is nice to have the option of going on the weekend. I’ve had some nice weekend morning sessions. Just need to get there early.
  2. But then you would have to ski Camelback
  3. Working Saturday and Sunday. I will be there Monday
  4. When I broke my ribs, sleeping wasn’t bad. Getting out of bed.... ouch.
  5. It clouded up a bit around 1. Also got warmer. Yesterday was bipolar weather, beautiful blue sky, then clouds, then got pelted for awhile with some kind of sleety snow. After it stopped, you could see lots of snow squalls in the distance. Very cool. Tried to practice some of the moguls today, I pretty much sucked 😑. They did blow fresh snow in them. Nice that they are doing that a lot this year.
  6. They were not there today or yesterday. I thought Challenge was nicer than Razors both days.
  7. I hate when that happens. Even worse when lazy people don’t clean off their car. Jerks. I saw someone yesterday who only had half the windshield clean. Guess he figured he only had to see what was in front of him.
  8. No out west for me this year😕. Just to Mount Snow with a ski club. Elk in March. I’m trying to get some of the girls I ski with to go to Utah next year.
  9. I love flying out west. Sky is usually clear, and I’m always amazed at the scenery. Every time I fly on east coast, it’s nothing but clouds and haze.
  10. Feel better Root. I really feel ski patrol does next to nothing there. I hardly ever see them. Seems they should be present on the mountain more.
  11. I’m working tomorrow, but will be there Wednesday
  12. Widow maker closed for the race team😡
  13. Conditions were variable. Didn’t even go down Challenge, as I heard from several people it was awful. Judging by The Falls, probably was. Cookies on Paradise. For me ROTD was definitely Switchback. Sidewinder was good and they had blown snow on the Main Street bumps, which is great for me, as I’m trying to get more comfortable there. I think the sudden freeze Friday night after 50 degrees really f@cked things up. All in all, can’t complain.
  14. Ok, I got simpletons have short attention spans... guess I’m a simpleton. Please I just want some paragraphs and punctuation.
  15. I couldn’t even read any of this.
  16. Sounds like a great day. I’ll be making my annual trip to Elk early March. Really like that place. Love when the natural snow trail is open. It’s slow skiing, but beautiful.
  17. I didn’t get there til noon. Had to get some work done on my car. Great conditions, except for Razors. Weird snow with lots of gullies in it, I almost ate it.
  18. I’ll be there early tomorrow morning 🙂
  19. Squatty potty! They do work, especially for us short people.
  20. Skiing at 80... that’s great. He went out doing what he loved, not sitting around in a nursing home. Still sorry to hear.
  21. Antman, sorry you got hurt. Fracturing your humerus does seem a bit unusual, now you have to tell us how you did it. And post the X-rays.
  22. Salty, I started skiing in my mid 40’s. Tore my ACL when some j@ckass skied over the back of my skis. But I love it, will never give it up. If I were you, I’d go on lots of ski trips. You have no obligations. Enjoy it now. Go on every trip you can.
  23. Had a great morning there. Skied from 830-1200. Thought I’d see some of you guys in the parking lot when I finally left around 1230. Once the quad opened, we just used that, instead of 6 pack and got right up on the lift. Lazy, Sidewinder and Switchback rocked. Main Street not so much. Knew that would happen when I saw that huge whale at bottom of Main Street on the webcam this morning.
