yeah, i might be more inclined to read that as deal fell through.  its interesting to go back to the old thread where quite a few people had claimed "its a done deal".  I imagine those where mostly long time season passholders.  those guys are always in the know.  

if there was almost a transaction, i will still say it is the best kept secret in the ski biz of 2024/2025 as to who it was.

i cant quite figure this out.  they said they would open today, then they said they would open by this weekend?  Are they the new Camelback from last year?

Elk needs new owners and quick. People that can make the most out of what's a pretty good hill all things considered. So much wasted potential.

They opened today. I don't think they have anyone proofread anything they post for even being coherent sentences. Pretty sure that was an attempted reference to camelback beating them to opening but only having two lame trails. Which could have been a pretty funny jab if they hired someone that could actually write and make it funny. But it's worded like a half formed sentence instead.

That makes sense.  but yeah, they need to work on their stuff a little if they are gonna throw some shade, which i have no problem with.

Agreed. I think BB would qualify for the inaugural PASR Peace Prize.

Absolutely.  I just hope they understand the significance of a made up prize.
