catamount is looking likely. It may be the closest thing open. Not to mention…if I went there it would mark the 10th different state (Mass) and 30th different resort that I’ve skied at. That alone is worth the drive. We’ll see.

Short session today, got there about 1030 and skied until noon time. They had gotten about 2 inches of snow, and left it as is on the west side of the mountain. I (and pretty much everyone) struggled skiing with it because it was pretty sticky, kind of stop and go. They groomed the east side of the mountain and skiing was a lot easier there. Thunderbolt and Challenge were closed, but it wasn’t too bad hitting east mountain from the DeMattes‘s cut over and taking the traverse up top back to Exhibition. Crowd was lite, never had to share a chair. The small lot on the other side of the road from the lodge was full, and slope side parking was full up to the big flat area where the tubing run out used to be (which was empty). A lot of families and kids. Skied the two and a half slopes on east mountain a few times and called it a day. Windy, partly sunny and 35 degrees.

Catamount is re-opening Friday

Hunter has again increased the number of trails they report as being open

They're planning to blow snow this week.  Cannonball, boomer, and white lightning all had good coverage before the rain so I would expect those to be open.  Maybe smoke if they can get the bare spots covered at the top

Nice couple of days at Frost. Everything open but One Park. Plenty of snow there too, but it doesn’t look like they are maintaining the feature lips for the light attendance. Fast slopes, a little more sugar snow today compared with yesterday.
