Does Camelback still have pierogi? Blue had fried oreos. Do they still have fried oreos?
C1erArt Posted February 21 Author Report Posted February 21 Nice late morning set at Frost. Pretty crowded, but for some reason only the Exhibition lift was crowded. TBolt and East Mountain lifts were mostly ski on. 3D snow, but not mashed potatoes. Lodge was pretty crowded but not crazy. Parked at the far end of slope side at the bottom of the head wall off the east mtn lift.
Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted February 27 Report Posted February 27 (edited) Gonna spend tomorrow “on top of old Frosty” - “this could be the last time” for a while as I don’t plan to renew my Epic pass Will be nice to hit it fully open and likely with skiable trees Edited February 27 by Ski2Live Live2Ski

Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted March 2 Report Posted March 2 (edited) Fun day at JF on Sat and hit BB too as a possible farewell to both areas with no plans to renew Epic - nice they were both fully open including plenty of glade coverage at JF While never much of a Park user it was sad to see BB now has less park than JF - kind of makes the place pointless except for those who want to ski under lights Did take a Rivershot Shot with my best bud - who stubbornly will not wear a helmet even after I gifted him one Edited March 2 by Ski2Live Live2Ski 1
C1erArt Posted March 2 Author Report Posted March 2 Boulder closed today. Will open Friday for the weekend, but that appears to be the season end.

GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 3 Report Posted March 3 XMAS to about now is when the majority of people ski. JF/BB isn’t meant for locals, there really aren’t many of them. It’s meant for tourists, people who don’t know the difference between 500 and 1,000 vertical feet and don’t care about fast lifts. 1
C1erArt Posted March 5 Author Report Posted March 5 I’ve been known to bash Vail, but blue is closed and Frost is open for the two of us skiing the east side. 3

C1erArt Posted March 5 Author Report Posted March 5 2 hours ago, GrilledSteezeSandwich said: How’s Floyd’s? Oddly enough, the speed on both runs was 46.3 mph. Heart rate was a moderate 146. I did put the JF ski patrol on my Apple Watch fall detection emergency call list because it was pretty foggy and no one else was on east mountain for most of the time.
C1erArt Posted March 11 Author Report Posted March 11 Sunnier today, all the bumps mowed down, but coverage is pretty good considering its 72 degrees. 3

Do you think they sold any tickets? You’ve gotten after it I feel like even more this season so a resounding WTGAI How was Floyd’s? Edited March 11 by GrilledSteezeSandwich

Lodge was completely empty - everyone booting up at the slope side parking. Floyd’s was 42 mph, 128 heart rate, Carv Ski IQ a rather poor 111. Edited March 11 by C1erArt 1
EdBacon Posted March 12 Report Posted March 12 Looks fun. How were the crowds this year compared to the last few seasons?
C1erArt Posted March 12 Author Report Posted March 12 4 hours ago, EdBacon said: Looks fun. How were the crowds this year compared to the last few seasons? Seems a lot less people were there this year. I was there a couple of times on weekends, and the lodge was fairly full lunchtimes, but not packed. Parking lot across from the drop off loop was never close to being full. Weekdays were pretty dead. 1
RidgeRacer Posted March 13 Report Posted March 13 I want to ski somewhere on the 19th. Was thinking about frost..Everything east of Lehigh appears to be closed. And they’re charging $65 for the ticket. No thanks. Was thinking about hunter… hunter north and hunter west are closed. Main mountain appears to have one or 2 runs from the top. $109 and 3 hours in the car for that…no thanks again. Why won’t vail do spring discounts like the rest of the world? Platty is closed so that’s a no. idk….maybe I’ll slum it at elk, Greek or Belle. Want to go somewhere not named blue for a change of scenery 1
