Doug are you deepsouthmafia on Teton Gravity? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. I keep my pass in my chest pocket. Guess I have to start rubbing my boob on the card reader. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Colorado is having a fantastic November! I just got back from Eldora. They opened another lift, nothing really open on that side yet, but all the guns were blowing. Mary Jane is opening this week and they usually don't open until first week to mid December. When I rolled in at 8:50 I expected a mostly empty parking lot since it's Monday. Wasn't thinking the kids are off from school. It was pretty busy. The new RFID readers are very glitchy. Sometimes they work great, sometimes they suck. Hope they make some adjustments other than the lifties walking over to you saying "put the pass right next to the card reader."

Shadows did you just say spicy?
  6. Boulder seems to be in the bullseye. Forecast was 3-6”. We got 11” so far. Still snowing but slowing down.

  8. There is a local Denver company that makes them. They are having an open house Sat I may attend. It has a queen bed which I would need for myself, husband and the dog to fit. https://itwoverland.com/boreas-xt/. My friend has one and raves about it. I think she took it to Moab like 10 times this year. Storing it it for us will be tricky. Already have 2 motorcycles and a large motorcycle trailer.
  9. Definitely had my boots too tight. My big toenails feel bruised this morning. Live and learn.
  10. Sleeping on the ground does indeed suck. I am looking into small off road teardrop campers. There are a lot of cool ones out there.
  11. Lots of ski team kids. When they all rolled up to the lift that’s when it got to be 5 min. Wonder what arrangement the school does with them so they can have mornings off.
  12. Good advice thanks! And sometimes I put a hot pack in them but didn’t think I would need one today.
  13. No Dan I did not wear them walking around the house. Next day out I am going to wear them a click looser.
  14. Several resorts opened early today; Breck, Keystone and Eldora. I was tempted to go to Eldora but opening day with one run open decided against it. Loveland has 3 t2b runs open and they have had several feet of new snow this week. Left Boulder at 7am not figuring the traffic would be bad on I-70 with Breck opening today. There was zero traffic. Since I was about 40 min until the first chair started spinning I decided to boot up in the lodge. Omg how luxurious it felt! My new boots felt incredibly light weight and went right on my feet like butter. Did all my runs on Mambo (which is a green) just to get my legs back. After 3 runs my toes started going numb. Figured it was due to the cold. After 5 runs I absolutely could not feel them and had to go inside. Since my boots are new I am thinking I cranked them down too hard since it was in the mid 20’s with sunshine. When the blood started getting back into them they hurt incredibly bad for about 5-10 min. If I didn’t come inside I would have done a few more runs but once I had my boots off I really didn’t feel like putting them back on again. The snow was pretty nice, especially for early season. I never waited more than 5 minutes for a chair. Overall a great first day for me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Great Sand Dunes I assume? That place is magic!
  16. I was actually just going to post this about Copper for you. Just got the email today. Looks like a good deal for you.
  17. My one and only cruise experience was to Alaska. Alaska is beautiful and we did a lot of wonderful excursions at each port but cruising definitely is not for us. One time was plenty.
  18. Larry's is a great shop. I will never go anywhere else now. He is almost a one man show so you have to make an appointment but they spend time with you and I feel like they are not just throwing what they want to sell on your feet. I have never had boots heat molded before. I am excited to try them out. It's amazing how much different companies differ in sizing. I tried on Atomic's and Lange's in the same size and my feet were going numb just standing there for a few minutes.
  19. I am happy to share my ikon pass coupons with you. Good for 25% off Ikon resorts (good during Christmas).
  20. Just got back from Larry’s bootfitter with these! Went for the full package with the heat molding! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Whoops didn’t realize it was in Blue, just opening predictions.
  22. Abasin opens Friday, Loveland Saturday. No Doug, I won't be driving up for the shitshow, but excited things are opening.
  23. 3-4” here so far. Supposed to snow until about 1pm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  25. YOu will see snow on the peaks for sure. I would rather have 15 degrees and sunny then 40 degrees and raining. Hate this freaking weather. Or it could just turn to snow, that would be better.
