  1. you have to be up to the top before they open (8:30 on weekends) and you can't descend until they open (8:30 on weekends), so you're limited to one run, which is why we try to time it to arrive at the top right before they open.
  2. you're welcome and anytime.
  3. Skied at Snowmass today with JohnnyStyle. Conditions were 10/10 boner doner tits magee groomers. Best groomers of the year by a mile. Weather was in the high 30s with no wind, and clear skies. The blues at Snowmass are steeper than the blacks at Breckenridge šŸ˜‚
  4. 5" today and I'm not talking about @saltyant. Nice day overall.
  5. Iā€™d agree with that. But still, pretty flat.
  6. Breckenridge is pretty lame. Itā€™s flat as shit, and itā€™s terrible to navigate requiring quite a few lifts to get from one side of the mountain to the other. I can see why mid-level skiers love the place, though. Sunday and Monday were 50F sunny days and today was a skiff of snow with flat light conditions. Skied the last two days with a running friend of mine who happened to be out here the same time. Looking forward to Aspen on Thursdayā€¦and maybe A-basin on Friday.
  7. I'm 100% OK with the current low speed Thunder lift. It's a nice break.
  8. It was very pleasant this afternoon as well. Coming Soon was the ROTD for me. Oh, and day 70 for me.
  9. Amazing afternoon w/ @Johnny Law....do whatever you can to avoid early AM skiing. The snow was butter this afternoon. Those pics from earlier look like that feet vibrating snow.
  10. 11/10 from @enjoralas ... and @Benm found @mbike-ski's missing ski in the woods!
  11. If @enjoralas is ok with Sunday, I'd prefer Sunday as well. It always seems to work better for most, and we can't leave @mute1080 out. Let's plan on the 20th.
  12. Our last run down Challenge was crazy. I don't know if I've felt wind that strong at the top. It was quite the workout even getting there.
  13. Congrats on Day 50 @GrilledSteezeSandwich
  14. I was up for a mid-afternoon session with @NazarethSkier. It was decent. Some sticky snow. I'd give it a 7/10. Bumps were really nice.
  15. congrats @Benm on 50 days .... 49 of them at Blue!
  16. The untouched cord was so smooth this morning. You couldn't put much pressure on it, but it was butter. That's about all that I have to say about that.
  17. Wasn't raining when I woke up and was expected to hold off until 9:30ish so I headed up and enjoyed a glorious morning with @JFskiDan @Dirtwolf@Johnny Law@mute1080 @boobear @theprogram4 @Benm @bethlehemfordguy and the rest of the boomers. Snow conditions were a carpet. Creamy snow all over the place and nobody there. Rain picked up around 9:30 when we retreated to the lot for a beverage. I thought I was done for the day until it stopped raining and the sun started to come out. We went back out around 10:30 and skied until 12:30ish when we could still ski onto the chair. Everything was perfect from Razors, Challenge, Sidewinder, Switchback, Main St, to Midway.
  18. wowow mid afternoon sunny session for me was 11/10 on razors. it was that scrapy faster insanely grippy snow. @mute1080 thought it was icy, but i thought it was some of the best turns of the year on Razors. Coming Soon did have tons of soft snow on it. Main St was deep blown snow and uneven as fuck. I do think once they groom it out it may be the ROTD tomorrow. Heard it here first.
  19. @toast21602 says as long as you pull into the parking lot it counts
  20. TCS was spicy first thing yesterday...even on the groomed bit.
  21. Cool place ... would definitely visit again. Maybe stay in @mbike-ski's timeshare next time....I've always said was an amazing investment. timeshare talk @JFskiDan
  22. We did see The Dude doing a live whirlybird ... he was trying to impress some chick he was skiing with.
