What gets me is that people on detachables will try to put the bar up a few towers before the top where you're still some 20' above the ground. Really you could leave the bar down until you get into the station and still have time to put it up and get off. When i ride with strangers, I keep my skis on the bar until we're almost in the station just to torque the other people on the chair. If they say something to me, I just ask: "Would you want to fall from this height?"

Horrible! Saw him on the ground shortly after fall, right at the bottom of the first headwall. Was lying in the support tower footer hole. He was moving when I saw him. No excuse for not using the safety bar.

Thought the snow was gonna set up overnight, but surprisingly it was pretty soft from the get-go. The groomers left the bumps that a couple of bumpers manually made yesterday, which provided ample entertainment today as well as some burning thighs. Lower Main Street was a total bump field, consistently littered with fallen bodies and various pieces of ski equipment. Thanks Enjorales for the meat & sausage samples! Conditions were considerably better than yesterday. Later in the morning, the sides of Lazy and Main Street were superb. Almost landed on an idiot boarder, kneeling on Come Around just beyond the left side of the jump, trying to get a picture of his kid (maybe) coming over the other side of the jump. Hope he got me yelling at him on video! Also, lots of morons sitting just below the lip of Falls just waiting to be run into or landed upon.

I stopped reading when he spelled vertical "verticle"... Although a lot of the comments provide a decent chuckle.

There was lots of fresh at the top, if you "Root"ed around for it. ROTD was right side of Paradise with excellent snow and not a patroller to be found, so it was full out from the open.
