  1. There's $$$ to be made in running prisons and so they need to populate them!
  2. Be sure to try out a Ralphius. Wicked good!
  3. I heard conditions were excellent there though.
  4. We were sitting in a booth there a while back and a cockroach ran right across the top ledge. Haven't been back since...
  5. Drunk peoplewatching is the go-to activity at the Allentown Fair. Do they still have the Dunk the Clown who constantly mocks people as they go past?
  6. I practically do, during the summer free concert days.
  7. Just finished cleaning up all the edges and putting on a summer wax so that they don't rust.
  8. They actually let you play with hot irons over in Jersey??

  13. Yeah, when they brought in a bunch of professional skiers and boarders. He's always so happy, but wouldn't anybody be if you skied for a living?

  15. I saw an Instagram post from him earlier this week that he was heading to Aspen and was wondering if you would see him and here you are skiing an afternoon with him! Kick ass!
  16. My son and I met Glen Plake, but unfortunately it was in a ski shop and not out on the snow or I would have asked him to rip some bumps.
  17. No fucking way! Too cool! Did you give him a pro call out when you met him?
  18. Woke up Friday morning at 3am and made the uneventful drive up to Killington, arriving in the parking lot just after 9 and booted up to mostly sunny skies and upper 20s, but felt much colder because of the wind. Met up with another Blue couple and headed up the gondoobie. First run over on East Fall and the snow was hard and fast as expected from the recent rain and falling temps. Took some stabs at venturing off trail, but that was a no-go. The snow looked good from the lifts, but was compressed and frozen stiff. Took a run down the backside over to check out the mogul course. Yikes! It was frozen solid, so much so that they were out with pickaxes to chop the jump landings. A few hardy (insane) soles were making their way down the run, but ended up bailing after a few bumps from out of control speed. Should be an interesting comp! Later in the day some snow started to fall and visibility dropped. Headed up to the top lodge for a few beers. Coming out we were met with full on wind and some 3-4" of fresh perder which helped slow things down a bit as pretty much everything was a sheet of ice by this point. Run of the day was coming down a mostly untracked Highline just before close, since few will ride the triple. Left the mountain after a few parking lot beers and headed to the house. Following the GPS which took me to the wrong house, only to find Tarpon pulling in right behind me. Turned out the house was across the street. After some dinner with other Blue couple, headed over to Sushi Yoshi for the pre-comp registration party and to meet up with the gaggle of Blue people who also came up for the fun. Thanks for the beer Tarpon!!
