I'm intrigued. Where would you park? -
still untouched. I didn't read any of their posts because I'm not going up for the 12:00 madness, but did they say what would be "ungroomed"?

It was a great morning to get out there with @Mixilplix. I'm almost always down for something like that so let me know if anyone wants to go. Hopefully this massive sleet accumulation doesn't fuck things up too much. In PA, its mostly the enjoyment of the effort and being outdoors than the actual turns made after. -
one thing that is for sure is this shit isn't going away anytime soon. just need a proper snowfall to land on top of it all.
-
Had a good clip of just sleet but a lot more snow mixing in at the moment. Still a yucky mix.

That property has no less than 4 boats in their yard. $10 says zero actually work.
-
Yep but I’d rather have snow. Fuck ice. Just crazy that it’s 10° and sleet.
-
Yep. If you didn’t get it somewhere this morning it’s going to be crunchy tomorrow.

Sleet mixing in around the LV.

After an uneventful drive, other than crying the whole way in solidarity with Shopey because blue was closed, I met up with @Mixilplix at the lot for Pulpit/Pinnacle at 6:30. We were the only people there. Geared up, head lamps on, and off we went. 8° at the start was chilly but with the effort we were shedding layers quickly. Much different conditions than Monday when I was there. First up and first down for the day. Saw my friend hiking up at the bridge on the way down but other than that the place was empty. Turns should be good there for the rest of the day and tomorrow. Enjoy the snow and be safe out there. Turns out you can still ski when a business closes. IMG_3968.mov

Cry more.

Light snow right now. About an inch already. Good thing Blue closed.

Apparently. Dude had a story for everything and love his bud light lime or some shit. He had a serious roid rage problem.

It will be crowded. It’s always crowded on a weekend.
-
Shit I forgot all about him. Probably in prison.

I think it will be warmer than predicted creating more wintry mix but a little shift can go a long way
-
I also went last night just for a few random things and the place was wild. So many people had carts filled with jugs of water too. I don't understand how people react to this shit. Are you really going to be snowed in for 3 weeks?

11"(+/- 1") and a change to mixed precipitation is my call as of 1/22 @ 7:37. I agree with GSS that it is probably going to change over more than predicted at the moment.

Elk getting hit hard.

Maybe Sunday but depends on what is actually happening that morning. Monday hoping to earn some turns somewhere along the Blue Mountain range.

They should move the OG 6pack to the other side of the ponds for when they expand terrain near Coming Soon, eventually.

Not staring a new thread. Went to Camelback this morning. Conditions were great. Got yelled at by patrol because I was told to slow down, which I did, and didn't come to a complete stop because there was a groomer on a trail that is 100m wide. Stoke stomper. But the conditions were fantastic and grooming was perfect. I haven't been there in a bit so it was a nice change of scenery. They have the whole works there now. Major resort vibes going on but it is pretty well done minus the waterpark shit all over.

98% of their staff live in Palmerton and the road to and from there is flat. They will be in to make that Johnny Cash as GSS would say.
