  1. A picture!
  2. So many families! And yes, Indy makes hitting these places worth the trip and experience!
  3. Am I missing something with the +? It only gets you access on the random blackout dates, correct?
  4. I'd be interested to see how long that lasts and the impact on Camelback's claim of making it to May.
  5. It's okay. I just scheduled my Indy tattoo because of you
  6. Been using my Indy a lot this year and this is a no-brainer again. Especially with the payment..
  7. Passes on sale now: https://www.indyskipass.com/shop
  8. I miss getting brochures in the mail like when I was a kid
  9. Another great day on the slopes. Catamount always delivers. Their groomed steeps are just fantastic and there really isn’t anything much like it around the area. I really like the way the mountain flows and is set up because it feels like different areas when skiing it. I’m always pleasantly surprised here. Good beer selection too and ended the morning with a Fiddlehead White.

  10. Bousquet was on my list but it opens at 12 on weekdays and I was in for a morning session today. Looks super cool and might make that a pit stop on the way up if I get out this way again. and yeah, Berkshire skis way bigger than it is. Really awesome place.
  11. I contemplated Butternut but I’m just going to hit it and quit it today at Catamount. I will likely be back up this way this season, I hope. Have you been there before? Thoughts?
  12. Catamount today is the plan.
  13. Welp, the plan to "chase" the snow kind of worked. When I saw early Sunday morning that the storm might skunk the LV and move coastal I made a game time decision to try and chase some soft turns. Hit Mohawk Mountain yesterday to split up the drive, and stayed south of VT to try and get some snow. Woke up to about 6" of snow and saw that Berkshire was reporting the same. By the time I got there around 8:15 about 2" more had fallen and probably another 2-4" of powdery chalk fell throughout the day. Another Indy Pass gem. Lots of really great runs here. Plenty of steeper trails, really great trees to dip into, and all around fun spot. By far the best ski day that I have had this season. IMG_4187.MOV
  14. A good bit of intel for you when you inevitably go - they do not have a bar or serve alcohol. The property is on state park lands so they cannot sell but you are allowed to BYO which is nice. Enjoying a bevy at Hot Plate Brewing now.
  15. It's always fun to add a mountain to the stat manager that hasn't been officially logged yet even though I'm sure somebody has been here.(Had to add it twice because I forgot to add ", CT" the first time like a dummy) Just around a 3 hour ride from the LV. Fun little hill. Poked around for three hours and skied every run with repeats of my favorites. Nice place with a major old school feel which I always enjoy. No lift lines or anything even though the lot was pretty filled. I'm not sure it gets much more crowded than it was today. The place even had a little on-mountain eatery. Light snow fell the entire time but accumulated to nothing. Just purely good for the vibes. While I was there I heard talk of them closing tomorrow because of the winds and it looks like that is now official. If anybody wants to check out a small spot on the Indy pass and appreciates the old school feel, I highly recommend. Because of all the snow this year the cut glades and other random areas were all in play and had some good snow even with the warmer temps last week.
  16. Hell yeah. Can't go wrong with fried cornbread/cornmeal. I'm heading to Houston for a work trip in early spring and I've already been scoping out food menus. Hushpuppies are always a bonus.
  17. I think this is accurate. I don't even know if they are on the map anymore. When do you leave for your trip?
  18. This is fucking righteous! Really pumped to see somebody get out there. I have thought about it many times but never pulled the trigger because of the unknown. You win. Are those hush puppies with your fish?
  19. Closed Sunday. Opening at 4pm on Monday.
  20. Oh yeah. Is that the one with the random mid station? Checking back at the trail map now is reminding me how much I enjoyed that place and would definitely like to get back.
  21. @PSUFrankenstein forgot to ask, how was the fish and chips?
  22. I suppose it does provide a bit of an adrenaline and cortisol boost. They have been around for so long that you know they are tanks and if they have been around this long they will survive another 50 years, but you are also acutely aware that they have been around forever and that makes you think they will collapse with you on it lol
  23. Loving this already. Pumped for you. Those old school janky lifts are the best. Enjoy!
  24. Would this match the one you have on your other cheek?
