How'd you hurt your ankle RideDE? Didnt you have ankle issues when you were patrolling??

Very odd beach accident this time. I also had a severe ankle sprain 3 years ago patrolling because I hit a tree.

Yeah. I hit a tree while mapping a new glade route. What a mess. Healed up just fine.

This is a different type of ankle sprain. Partial tear in my posterior tibial tendon. Outside of the ankle ligaments are fine, but I've got a pretty good amount of joint pain and the tendon still has some stiffness and soreness. I got lucky in that it happened August 30th so I had time for it to heal up and hit PT. I've still got some time to go, but the doc cleared me to snowboard due to the nature of the boot.

Tell me more...

Around the 20th colder air should show up not cold enough for blue but further north should be in business.......blue looks more like mid December at earliest....but that shit is futurecasting.....

It's looking grim. I'm thinking Thanksgiving in VT should be ok, but it will be real limited. I hope this cold comes through, but it's nice having the extra time to heal.

If the cold air settles in 2 weeks from now, Killington should be fine. If anywhere will have terrain open at that point, it will be KMart. As long as Snowdon is open, crowds will be easily maintained as well.

Feels nice having a slight chill in the air this morning. This last week was pretty warm. People see saying things like,"wow just wow it's never this warm in November"...hopefully December is cold...

Should he some frost on the rotting pumpkins tomorrow morning maybe even some time ice with freezing fog...then some rain to fill the snowmaking ponds

Sugarbush started making snow up top today. Who knows how production is. Seems like a waste with the temps the next two weeks, but I won't complain if it doesn't melt. Sugarbush has a set snowmaking budget, so I would hate to waste it early season.
