I find the whole "you said it, we listened" thing over the pond skim/weather thing last week a really slick move too, but in an odd way. A whole bunch of "internet weather forecasters" (read - anybody with a weather app) told them it was going to rain on Sunday. Everybody knows Blue likes to close when it rains, yet everyone on FB was more than willing to point out to Blue that it was going to rain. I work in a weather dependent business, and i know better than to tell someone 5-6 days prior what the weather is going to do, because most likely it will change. There were also people on FB saying exactly what time it was going to stop raining on Sunday, 5 days ahead of time. LOL. Due to some other circumstances, i wasnt able to ski the past two weekends, so i probably have a different outlook on this than most. I skied quite a few days at Blue this year. I really have no idea how many days, i dont keep track, its not worth my time to keep track of it, all i know is i paid probably a little more for 4 lift tickets in Utah as i did for the season pass at Blue, and i was able to give another PASR a day pass.

Rain man is losing his touch. None of the above, but i have told you why.

You will get past the greens. ski with people that are above your level some. watch and learn. Take a lesson. take the time on your own to hone in on tips people give you. Rinse and repeat. There are alot of people here that can give solid advice on technique and equipment. Absorb it. Research. This isnt a bad place if your skin is just a little thick. Enjoy.

As much as it doesnt make sense to close JF on a friday, it sort of makes sense in the eyes of Peak. They dont feel there is a difference between frost and boulder as far as they are concerned. Like everyone that skis frost is just as happy to go to boulder.

Seems like they have 2 people working their FB page and they dont talk to one another.

Last time i was there, either the triple lift or big boulder lift had PASR stickers on it.

Somehow i pulled a muscle in my thigh. I can barely walk. Knee feels great though.

I'm a fan of the isle seat lately. Easier to get up to go potty. It would behoove you to probably take the silent route on this.

Buy the pass. Oh, and BTW, you are going out west next year. I do get the idea of waiting until next years pass comes out, but my god that is really a long time to not have one. Before i had a season pass to JFBB, i skied like 2-3 times a year. I hated shelling out window price.

If i owned Blue, it would be because i have too much money, and just like to ski. There would be no daily ticket sales. Season passes for PASR's in good standing would be $600, others would pay $2000. The 6 fuckers on the lift with me Saturday would pay more, and would most likely have to ski with GSS's maids outfit for at least a few days.

I think its unlikely you will get a free pass. If its really a big deal not to spend it now, i still have the picture of the sign that says $429 till April 1. I was planning on throwing that back at them if it did mysteriously go up before i purchased mine. I got my Epic Pass saturday though.

I will agree with these, and the pollen thing sucks....i think i have determined i have some slight reactions to pollen, and leaving my windows closed in my home when its really nice out kinda sucks. One nice thing to spring is getting the cars out of winter hybernation and taking a nice cruise with the windows down. the same probably applies to motorcycles.

They need to make themselves look as profitable as possible for Vail. We all know turning the lifts in April will end up costing them money.

At least now i wont be able to forget which 6 people i need to “return the favor” to.

This was not of my doing. I took one for the team there. I will return the favor one day to all you fuckers. Might not be this year, might be 2 years from now, but you guys should be on the look out for a banana in the tailpipe. Great day hanging out with all of you weirdos.

Someone did snap a pic of him one year at the bump comp. as you can see, his gear is pretty basic, and someone mounted is skis a little far back, so he didnt do real well.
