Winter Park / Steamboat

best of luck. If I can offer a word of wisdom for navigating sketchy mountain passes in a snow storm in a vehicle you're not familiar with, drive slower than you're normally comfortable with. You'll still get where you need to go. Not totally knowing how a car's AWD system is going to react if/when it slips is the worst to me.

Our Jeep Cherokee is similar to driving a toboggan.  Advantage rental cars blessed us with the "sport", which really means stripped down basic car with just a little more traction than a yugo, and drag radials.  luckily the anti lock brakes seem to do their job, it might be the best function of the vehicle.

Berthoud pass is kind of crazy to drive, but looks like a huge playground if you dont mind earning your turns.

Can't sleep for shit, have had a headache pretty consistently since we got here, I can fart like a champ, and I have to pee every 5 minutes.

I'm definitely not adjusting to the altitude this time for some reason....most likely because I'm a jackass and didn't prepare like I usually do by drinking a shit ton of water every day for a month before I left.

(I hope you people are laughing....)

I'm in steamboat and there's snow on the ground...

Today should be good....

You'll be fine...Steamboat springs is under 7,000 feet..you'll adjust, it's Winter Park which is much higher at 9100 feet...your drive yesterday you were super high...don't drink too much high test beer.

Enjoy the powder!!! Oh and high elevation flatulence is real..plus for some reason I get huge boogers when I'm out west..I had one so deep when I pulled it out it tickled my brain.

Oh and eat a big breakfast and don't be stubborn..if you are feeling beat before closing quit for the day...
