Sno Mountain Skier Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 It could be something else. My workplace is 200 yards from the ski slopes and I tried to call my office and it wouldn't go through.

Much different than what Sno's sounds like.

Ride Delaware ? Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Phone are back up, If the resort uses DSL, than maybe that's why KC hasn't chimed in... Anything from his favorite reputable newspaper?
Winter Posted November 24, 2012 Report Posted November 24, 2012 I really doubt the shareholders would pull the plug this late into the fall season. Fingers are crossed for a killer winter, let's hope they get it at Sno. Elk needs the competition.

Santa Clauss Posted November 25, 2012 Report Posted November 25, 2012 KC doesn't live at Snö, so regardless if they have DSL, do you really think he drives up just to post things on PASR?
Ride Delaware ? Posted November 25, 2012 Report Posted November 25, 2012 Uhh...I doubt they use DSL. It was more of a joke than a serious suggestion. I was just saying that since DSL runs off the phone lines...
Sno Mountain Skier Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 I don't have high hopes for Sno to open before Christmas. I just checked their facebook and they haven't printed any season passes yet or started snow making.
RidgeRacer Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 Was just wondering why he hasn't chimed in.
mbike-ski Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 they posted on fb that they smoked stokevemberfest - fuggers! i was planning on heading up friday for meatheads and sno tix...
poconoceancity Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 where is KC? He's either dead or Sno is not opening.
JFskiDan Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 He's either dead or Sno is not opening. something like that. it doesnt sound good for sno. Dont want to see any ski joint go down the drain. 1
toast21602 Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 i bet Blue will buy their water park features to move to theirs.
Santa Clauss Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 Was Montage profitable when it was run by Lackawanna county? Such a bad location. A county running anything isn't going to be profitable. It's actually in a great location, it just requires more snowmaking due to the direction it's facing, I don't know what's going on with them at all and this season and I'm not going to speculate because if there's one thing I've learned, they always have something good planned up their sleeves, it's just the weather that screws them. I'm sure KC would love to chime in, but they probably have him on a delicate muzzle at the moment. Ohh, and before I hear a single word about it being built on the wrong side of the mountain again, I've hiked the sides and back of the mountain several times this summer and the terrain there sucks.

It is built on the wrong side, but not because of terrain. The mountain currently faces West, this is the reason the mountain doesn't hold snow too long into the Spring season. The only reason the mountain was built on the side it was so it could be seen from 81.
Kyle Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 I hate to see a ski area die but how does sno keeping making these fiscal/managerial mistakes? They really need someone to come in/ take over, and clean house.
