If they close the 13th I will hope off my flight home from Tahoe and book it straight to the lower lot. Jet lagged for sure, and I probably won't have beer, but I won't miss a blue closing day if I can help it!

After being at blue I think there's still a good chance they make late March still a decent base.

Jet lag from Tahoe. Hardly. From Europe yes.

Son was up and said conditions were great, no bare spots and plenty of snow left.

Of course, with spring temps this weekend that all can change in a hurry.

I'm impressed that Blue is firing up the guns at this point, prolly out of necessity for the high travel areas, but if they are reseeding bumps and throwing down some sticky styro on some of the trails, that's a bonus.

The new blown snow keeps the sugar from forming. Snow should set up tonight and be fast tomorrow morning. If it gets colder after this weeks warm spell, they could still make late March.
