So I asked if it was still to early and the woods were out of play and he confirmed the only trails they skied were from the lift to get to the glades. Skied powder trees all day. Could be just crazy college kids but damm... Edited December 4, 2016 by tarponhead

It's probably Jay. Upslope machine was cranking the past two days. Sugarbush was reporting 2' + in the last 48 hours. Only 3" at 1,500', but go to the top, and it just kept snowing.

Great day at Hunter today. 3 nice different runs off the top converging on a big snow field and funneling down to some soft bumps. Left around 2 as it was starting to get sled off, as were my legs after 8 months off skis (apart from BB last weekend). No lines at all on high speed 6, no bare spots, wall to wall coverage on what was open. Loving it.

Maybe they'll get tannenbaum open again. Snowmaking doesnt begin for real till Thursday night so I think it's to late for new openings this weekend. I think blue and camel open around Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
