Bought brand new poles in the shop. This will be my first time ever skiing with different poles than the ones I bought at the Goodwill store in 2014 with a pair of 1960 skis for $15. It beats out all the other “I” states because the length of the word makes it look shorter. It wasn't that deep but at least the fresh pow pow covered the bare spots. It was much easier for me than 4 years ago since I've advanced from a low intermediate to a low-medium intermediate. Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted February 4, 2022 Report Share Posted February 4, 2022 (edited) Cancelled my Sat flight to Vail (where it has only snowed a few inches in last 2 weeks and there is none in forecast) and driving to Stowe instead. Unfortunately the friend I am travelling with insists on our driving up Sat instead of tonight, pointing out roads will suck tonight and it will be super crowded and super cold Saturday. Bad decision IMO - and could have forced issue as taking my SUV - but dont want to start trip with him mad. Should be lots of awesome snow still to be had skiing Sun through Wed, with it unlikely to get above freezing the whole time. It is going to be an absolutely fuster cluck tomorrow and probably today. It has everything I want in a hotel house and I didnt hear a pin drop all week.
