I felt the need to wear zubaz last week as well, so I did. Best thing I've ever bought on the internet. side note, Montage is doing a ton more business in the event realm now. Wine Fest, Beer fest, yoga things, the water park, etc. Plus the concert venue. I don't see it exploding in terms of a cash cow, but they are definitely paying the bills now.

I have this intense craving to wear zubaz now.

guns are still on as of now. right now im using the completely irrational idea that BB opens tomorrow as a way to get me through today. no chance of that happening and it makes zero financial sense for them, but it puts happy thoughts of snow in my head

Finally, The weekend we've all been waiting for!! Figured we could use this to discuss whos open, with how much terrain and figure out peoples plan for the weekend. I already took off of work on Friday so I think ill hit Boulder. Get up there early and pick up my Peak Pass and probably only do a few runs. I'm also thinking ill hit Hunter on Sunday depending on if they actually open and how much terrain they have. What's everybody's plan for this weekend?

Mad props to Boulder right now. They are killing it. They are making some decent whales.

Sally, patrollers in VT are covered under worker’s comp when you are on the job. Plus, if you make under a certain amount annually, I think you’re covered under some type of socialist healthcare coverage provided by the state. Not that I’m promoting that, but there are safety nets built in for the large amount of seasonal work in VT. Also, Sugarbush opens Saturday. I could see a pass holder day on Friday. They did the same thing last year. Sounds like they are trying to avoid Deathspout two years in a row, so opening likely off Valley House Quad for Snowball and Spring Fling. I expect they will open the top of the mountain including Jester, Organgrinder, Downspout, and Valley House Traverse next Wednesday ahead of Thanksgiving. I’ll be there Sunday...

I would LOVE to patrol, but seasonal work doesn't provide health insurance. GSS, I'm on my town's fast squad, so yeah I respond to 911 calls; medical, trauma, etc. Lots of alcohol-related shit. We get specifically toned for anything in West Windsor, VT.

i think they would make Friday at this point, and i think that would be better for them, as well, do the can thing of Friday, collect money on Sat/Sun. I think they are working on tannenbaum and love too, but i can be wrong. I think Tannenbaum would be a good possibility for the weekend, but i think love would take some more snowmaking. Blues temps look kinda marginal for a little while still. Hope that changes.

They're still pointed at the ropes course from the summer. They typically change it, but that hasn't happened yet. Comment on their facebook about it if you still aren't blocked.
