Oddly enough the 5.0 in the ford trucks has the same mpg rating as the 3.5 and 2.7 ecoboost motors. theprogram4 Posted November 27, 2018 Report Share Posted November 27, 2018 industry is moving away from compact cars to compact SUV's...like the Ford EcoSport, Jeep Renegade, or Chevy tracks. they are essentially ford escapes or honda crv's without cargo space. i think they are stupid, but they target 2 markets well...parents of teenage drivers and the elderly. That is until he got into a three car pile up on 202 and his car was the only one that could drive away. His car wadded the other two up like tin foil. There aren’t a lot of ST model fiestas out there. I would call them “rare”, they just didn’t sell. They’re a great commuter car if you want something with a little bit of bite and don’t mind the small space. I hate having people in my car so it was an excuse to not drive anyone anywhere which was nice. It was was a GREAT autocross car though.
