GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 21 Report Posted March 21 Hey All, I’m back from another morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at dark o’clock and it was in the mid 40s under mostly cloudy skies. In the house was everybody except Salty, Zonked, Hoodie, Root, Toast, Matt Edge, Sibhusky and Skidude. Second civilian OG six pack and I started out on Paradise which had white snow and good grooming. Lazy Mile was similar but a little more texture. Repeated Paradise then Widowmaker to midway to lower main which was pretty good. Coming soon is getting pretty thin and I hit a big rock. Razors was pretty solid and rough and uneven but I’ve seen it worse. I finished the session attempting Barney’s bumps which were slick, another lazy and ended on Paradise. Fun mellow parking lot, everybody is saving their energy for tomorrow’s party. I got three bottles of champagne on the way back from skiing and ready to party rock as well at the biggest sausage fest this side of Munchen or at least Mr. Dunderbaks. JADIP 8 1
RidgeRacer Posted March 21 Report Posted March 21 Fun day. Snow was good to weird. Midway was the good. Upper main was the weird. In no way am I complaining. The coverage is pretty insane all things considered. Ready for full on spring tomorrow 5 1
Mixilplix Posted March 21 Report Posted March 21 Gotta give props to Blue for the coverage after going on a weather rollercoaster the past couple of weeks. The only spicy section was at the top of the TCS headwall. Everything was skiable in one form or another. Third week in March and only Switch shut down is a win... 3

Raceway to midway is one of my favs, but hasnt been worth talking about much this year, at least the days i skied it. NMDW was good too. its time to knock the obstacles down on that trail. at least get rid of that one rail at the bottom before someone wipes out into it. I mean, switch probably could have gone today, it would have been rough, but thats always super fun when things get a little spicey. 5
