Seriously, WTF is with this Weather?

More often than I'd like to.

Sometimes I'm stressed out and just need to get outside and end up at fast food places. Other times I get frustrated trying to figure out what I want to eat to the point where anxiety kicks in and I just say fuck it and get fast food.

I'm really bad about making a decision in general, even more so when it comes to food.

I'm guessing that this isn't much of a surprise to anyone though.

Sounds like you need to keep more food at home.  At least, an emergency health meal.  When you don't know what to eat, open the refrigerator, and create something. It's a lot healthier than going out.

I know.... I honestly have to do a better job of actually trying. I'm my own worst enemy

When I used to work in CC Philly, there were so many good options for lunch.  I guess I wouldn't call them fast food, but lots of take-out/delis/restaurants/etc. within walking distance.  I ate lunch out everyday and the wife and I went out to dinner at least 2-3 times a week, but we lived in the city and walking to a restaurant was more convenient than grocery shopping.

Now that I work from home, I never eat lunch out and grocery shopping is much more convenient when you don't live in the city.  We cook at home and eat dinner out maybe once a week. However, the food out here is NO WHERE as good as it was in Philly, so I don't have the urge to eat out as much.

There's lots of places to eat that aren't fast food per se, but with 30 minutes for lunch (if I'm lucky) and often no idea what time of the day that will be, it's tough to hit any of them up. I do try to eat better for dinner. For instance, last nights dinner was a pan-seared pork tenderloin finished in the oven with some roasted potatoes with rosemary and dill, and steamed broccoli with a little sea salt.

Just gotta try a little harder for lunch, cut out so much soda, and get a little more exercise.

Once a week I go to target and buy things for the office. I get bottled water, Diet Pepsi for office manager, some frozen meals and some snacks. That way I don't go out for lunch and therefore get my work done quicker. Office manager loves Arby's and Taco Bell so I get those things for her a few times a month, especially when I dump work that she doesn't want to do on her desk. I should eat breakfast more but on workdays I'm usually in bed as long as possible and miss breakfast.

I like restaurants and if I could eat out every meal for the rest of my life id be happy. Last night went to Youells seafood which is a block away. Had crab bisque, crab cocktail and shrimp cocktail was like $34. Like I said any savings on living in a $725 a month apartment vs $905 a month before goes straight to diners drive ins and dives.

I'm a sucker for Chinese buffets and the Pizza Hut buffet but go to those less and less.

I'm a big buffet fan too (shocker, right?) the Chinese buffet up on Grape St by the mall is the best around. 4th st in Allentown and 191 over near Bethlehem are top choices too. I like buffets more for the variety than the quantity, like to have a lot of different things. Yeah, I overeat there, but not as bad as you would think for a fat guy at an AYCE.

I'm an installer/repair for Comcast down in Bucks/Mont/Berks counties, working with the business clients.

The Chinese buffet on grape street closed down a year or two ago. Sakura buffet in the shopping center where sports authority is very good. I also like the Chinese buffet next to the chicken Lounge near dorney park. It's worth it just for the hibachi setup. Going to a hibachi restaurant is a rip off as you are spending a lot of dough for a show. I actually don't really overeat at Chinese buffets I just get a really good variety. Instead of one bowl of hot and sour soup, I'll do a half of bowl of both wonton and hot and sour...

Best buffet I've been to is at the Aria casino in Vegas. I've heard the ones at the Cosmopolitan and Ceasers are even better. I can eat shrimp crab and prime rib for days.

Buffets and fast food being frequented by someone in the tombstone biz smacks of vertical integration.

I don't get any commish on my own tombstone.

Grape St reopened a few months ago. It's as good as ever, best buffet sushi selection around. The three I mentioned all have sushi and hibachi, both are mandatory for me for a chinese buffet. I did enjoy the one by Dorney as well, only been there twice.

I really enjoyed the buffets at Rio and Planet Hollywood while in Vegas about 4 years ago. We eat at either the Borgata or Harrahs buffet one night when we spend the weekend in AC.

I live three minutes from the buffet by dorney. That shopping center is not good for me. Wendy's, carrabas, Chinese buffet and Pizza Hut. Also a dunkin donuts but I'm a Starbucks guy so hit the one by wegmans every week or two for an iced coffee and a little flirting with the jailbait that works there.
