Maybe a 28 wet bulb at Mont Bleu..more likely 29-30…they might be able to crank em back on tonight before wet weather moves in.

This week isn’t looking good. After Sunday looks more favorable consistent night temps.

Truth, fun little snowmaking test is complete now we can watch the snow melt on the webcam.

Yeah or wash away tomorrow night.
Encouraging forecast though!

Blue is still talking about opening Friday in FB

They'll be open this Friday. Don't be doubtin' the Holy Gospel of Blue the True. They got new super duper perder guns that can open a trail in no time at all.

I really appreciate their commitment, and i would love for it to happen, but i just dont see how.  Frost maybe, but Blue, not so much.  Planning on managing the balance of my leaves this weekend.

chairs are spinning lol

looks like they might have an 8ish hour window tonight. i really don't know if it'll be enough tho between the rain and the future temps. guess we'll find out how magical those new guns are.

could they open? maybe but i think it'll be a WROD on vista only

They have no chance…if they opened the following weekend would be a miracle.

@Ski2Live Live2Ski this is a deal. Bring the twins and you can ski The True Mountain for only $351.

If Hunter isn't open we will do Belleayre for about half that price. Plus they have never been there while they are still "Blued out" from 15 days there 5 years ago.

Id say 25-30% chance based on the forecast.

i would say its a 100% better chance for next weekend than this coming weekend.

I think snowmaking starts Sunday evening...

I would like to claim that snowmaking did start Sunday evening...

I am still saying that we are skiing THIS weekend.

If they can get the whales big enough in tonights window the rain wont be a death sentence to the progress.  Rain kills pushed out snow way faster.

Trail might be a single track  wide but damnit blue can claim they opened. I’m not sure if I’m excited or embarrassed.

Excited!  A turn is better than no turns.
