The early bird pass was $519 last year and in October I believe it was like $670. Before that early bird was $499 and it went up to $635..break even is like 8 days. Anyway you go to the ticket office with season pass and they'll give you a day ticket for a friend. Really not that bad The cost of season passes at blue have barely gone up over the years. Unfucking believable They need the money and they always start selling early bird passes the second half of February. Nothing new. It's not blues fault the weather was bad early season. Behave yourself TP4 or I'm gonna give you a demerit. Can buddy pass be used weekends? No idea call blue. I think blue was super vague about buddy passes so people wouldn't use them. I thought they wouldn't want to give the rest of the season away to folks like me after only so many opportunities to get cash out of 'em. I wonder if they had this date picked all along, or if Camel forced their hand by offering their pass starting Monday? Maybe they thought they might lose out on visits to skiers who jumped on the Camel pass and then just went there for the rest of this season since it was already paid for. As GSS said, I believe they've been putting it out the same time every year. It used to be with Ray, he would wait until all the mountains in the area announced their prices and he'd set the price a dollar or so beneath theirs. Wouldn't surprise me in the least that if Camelback announced theirs, Blue just followed suit so as to not lose those thinking about switching. I've actually had two pairs of ski pants in the last ten years both the same pants..Ride snowboard pants the first pair was like $100 and second pair like $70. This is a great deal for someone who doesnt currently have a pass, so i dont see how this can be taken as a kick in the pants to current passholders. This is the season that just barely materialized on the east coast. It is what it is. if you looking for something with a guarantee, there is always Elk. Just didn't expect it so soon from a purely economic standpoint. My main Spring-Fall hobby is roller coasters and theme parks, and they aren't as predictable with when next year's passes go on sale. The 80s?? I remember paying about $360 for the 1995-96 season when I was in 11th grade. Funny thing was that my skis back then cost just as much as skis today..like 3-400 dollars since I had to get them from Nestor's vs online. That's back when the major resorts were cracking the $50 lift ticket barrier. Now a few dozen areas at over $100 Yeah, that has been my plan all along, ski on the cheapest deals I could find until Blue announced this deal, then ski on that for the rest of the season. I used to get a season pass at dorney park when I was a kid and live two miles from there. Been to Six Flags Great Adventure, The Great Escape, Le Ronde, Hershey Park, Six Flags Over Georgia, Kennywood, Busch Gardens Williamsburg and many other theme parks but the last roller coaster I was on was at NYNY casino in Vegas in 2010. I tried to get the company to pay for my season pass as wellness since delivery guy has his gym membership paid for which works out annually to about the cost of a season pass.
