Isn’t the mayor of Atlanta holding her ground, and not allowing things to open?

She’s urging residents to stay home but the governors orders supersede here with respect to businesses reopening and she’s getting a lot of racist comments as well.

This is one of the governor of Georgias political ads lol

Gonna have to change its slogan to “what happens in Vegas spreads to the rest of the Fukin country”

I wonder what the break even occupancy is for one of the big Vegas hotels. If no one can fly into Vegas the only realistic market is LA and I kind of doubt that enough people will go even if things open up. It would be like Blue Mountain on a Wednesday morning in late March. Yeah we are open but we are spending more to unlock the doors that we would be pulling in.

@AtomicSkier told me last night that the casino in Bethlum is still paying their fees/taxes/whatever to the city even though they aren’t open. Pretty cool that they are still doing that. Apparently the tribe that owns it is big on philanthropy and such.

The woman's working hard and conducting herself with grace yet these idiots make fun of her looks now that's she's out there in the spotlight every day during a pandemic. What's wrong with people?

If you’re a public figure, people hate...look at Saturday night live...

It looks like i will be heading back to work soon, with construction starting back up.  I have been doing what i can from home, which really isnt too much, and its a pain in the ass sending emails from my phone, and trying to dig up email contacts.  Been working on our guidelines for employees returning to work.  This will be an interesting year for sure.  I think at this point we are sort of in survival mode, and breaking even this year would be good.  My contact with other people at work can be very low, but i do have my concerns about a few people that are in the same office as myself.  My plan is to barricade myself in my office as much as possible.

Breaking even for any business this year would be good.  My business had a great start to the year like best ever through early March and we are currently down about 7%...I’m thankful to some of our dealers who have continued to meet with families and sell and also me and office manager selling via phone, mail, email...the sandblast facility we use in Vermont has been shutdown all month but plans on reopening around May 1..our delivery driver set three memorial stones yesterday..the cemeteries never close..

NJ dashboard is acting up but data it is displaying (300+ deaths in last day) indicated north of 3k new positives. Jersey will top 100k statewide by tomorrow so still looking flat.

That said, the Rutgers test is being deployed big time now. Real game changer as indiggio pointed out. Accuracy is 100%. Totally scalable. They are racing now to deploy statewide with emphasis getting in southern county nursing homes to avoid the devastation seen northern counties. 10k tests a day right now. They said they will help other states but obviously prioritizing local needs first. All in all, this is great news!

Go RU!!!!
