Hi everyone,

I hope this isn't a stupid question. It's my first time going to Bear Creek and I am just wondering if there is any form of public transportation to get there. Is there any alternative to driving up? Thanks for your help!!

As far as I know there is no public transit anywhere near BC. It is either find a ride, drive yourself, or thumb it. :dunno

Every other state has some form of PT to the mountains...Utah, CO, Cali, Oregon, even NYC has buses to Mountain Creek and Bell....yet there are no buses connecting any cities in PA to the mountains

There is no way I'd hitchhike anywhere near Bear. I think I heard banjoes playing last time I went there...

You're not kidding. As I've said before, my rents live right near there and quite frankly most of the people in their neighborhood are really scary. A lot of them sport mullets, are missing many many teeth, are married to their relatives and do there shopping at Zerns. Ugh.

Scared of a banjo, but probably listens to Mumford and Sons.

I did a search for 'hitchhike' and I couldn't resist commenting. Sorry. It won't happen again.

Thanks but I’m not allowed to post this here. Don’t worry I post it like 20 times a day on the Allentown issues group on Facebook.

I'm confused. Geeze posted stop which is a toast copyright phrase. Toast posted Lo Quiso Dijon mustard which is a Steeze catchphrase. Root posted wow just wow which is a Steeze saying. Have we entered an  alternate forum universe like salty land?
