Last day. Skied Blackcomb all day again. We went out last night and got turnt AF. So started slow and got on the snow at 9:30. Took it easy and only skied double blacks today since snow was best up in alpine. Started with Couloir Extreme and dropped into Jersey Cream bowl again. After that we headed back to the glacier to scope out some potential lines from the bottom. We wanted to hit Spanky’s Ladder and drop down into some different routes. The hike in was super sketchy bootpack but worse, it was just like a toe pack. Once in, we dropped into Garnet Bowl and then skied another chute into Diamond Bowl and out. We ended up hiking in 3 times and taking different runs each time. I can’t remember the rest of the names. Maybe Ruby Bowl, Zut Zut, and Wild Ride. Probably some of the gnarliest terrain I’ve skied. Not many pics today, and those that we do have don’t do it justice, it was just Kevin and I out in these areas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk6 points

That’s the kind of shit people think is annoying as fuck. I mean, you do you, but don’t whine people don’t like you after the fact.4 points

I'm in favor of bumps on the chute..it provides steeper bumps than barneys and also makes Main Street safer because it's one less route of aggro beginners flying down into the middle of Main Street.4 points

in all seriousness. I feel like salty would get a pass to blue and then the group would get tired of his shit and refuse to let him assimilate. then salty is stuck as a mtn that no one likes him at. at least he fits in at cb.4 points

Just got back from a day at Blue with my 7 year old son. Called him out of school and got on the sixer at around 9:50. Started with Paradise since this was his first time out this year. Took a few turns for the little man to get in the swing of things, then we were off and shredding. Did paradise 4times, Burma twice with the yeti park, lazy twice, switchback once. Run of the day for us was sidewinder to the lower park, to the 2 big roller jumps next to the six pack. We did that 4 times. My sons favorites were anything that had jumps, I think he’s gonna be a park rat. Got a pretzel in the lodge and he passed out like a champ on the ride home. Despite pretty crappy conditions was one of the most fun days out for me! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk3 points

Oh man this morning was nice once the am clouds cleared. Around 11 clouds moved in. Never got crowded while I was there. Razors closed again. First time I’ve seen the abortion that is Dreamweaver. Shameful. I might start riding the quad more while it’s there. Show must be great. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk3 points

I'm more fascinated by his decision-making process. ("skip untracked powder in favor of free hotel breakfast" e.g.) and the way he agonizes over the whole thing. Whether he gets a Blue pass or not, I just want to enjoy seeing the process play out.3 points

Wow.. Not sure why but Saltys got people on pins and needles about where he'll invest in a pass next year. Salty you're like fucking Ross Gellar from friends right now deciding between Rachel and that British chick. You've somehow, someway developed a captive audience over your season pass. No pressure. I don't get it but I can't figure out why people watch "love after lockup" either but they do. Personally I'm hoping Salty drops an F you... And says Enjoy PA while I ski bum out west.3 points

Upper main was tits magee, boner doner, etc. My favorite conditions for sure. Insanely grippy was fast as fuck.3 points

I thought the vert comeback was solid and in-bounds. I like your posts, Salty. I'm baffled by your choices sometimes, but who cares. I'm basically George Costanza on ski days: I'll arrive insanely early just to get a good parking space, then just hang around killing time. I post dumb stuff all the time. Win some, lose some. Come ski at Blue, It will be great to meet you!2 points

This thread went sideways fast. I hope you get a pass at Blue because Blue is the best and it would be fun to ski with you.2 points

salty is already a PASR legend. he could stop posting today and years later we would still be talking about him. Like 4MoreWars and TTC62 points

Thanks TP4. You're a true bro. If I could edit my post above i would put you instead of Root because Root will sell me out in a second for free parking lot beers.2 points

He's polarizing. The fun loving cool people like him and the wet blankets and Sandy vaginas don't care for him.2 points

I ski a lot. Just more in NY and VT than PA. Skied at Elk last Saturday. Great conditions and the terrain is the best in PA. (And yes, I've been to Blue Knob, twice.)2 points

I'll get a pass whatever the hell I want or maybe I won't get a pass anywhere. If i choose blue I won't bother you or anyone else who doesn't want to be bothered and I won't tailgate with you guys and that's fine with me. Might make a few runs with Steeze or Root if I can keep up but That's all.2 points

Best decision I ever made: buying a Blue pass in February and getting my money's worth out of it before the current season had even ended. Salty's full of Camelback bravado, but he'll see the light.2 points

Hayata, his spouse, and I blew off work to spend the morning at blue. The first 6 or 7 runs were stellar on every run except the bumps, they had icy troughs. Things started to get cut up and a little sugary, nothing to complain about, switched to my wider skis and all was good. Challenge developed some cookies but, again not bad. Did not see anyone in the bumps so I didn't go back to them, probably should have as I am sure they turned hero. I have to admit that I have been enjoying the skier cross course, but it can go just the same.1 point

Got to blue at 7:40 and parked in Jeffs spot. I was the only one in line for opening and got first (and only) civilian chair. 1st run was paradise and I could barely see. Second run was night weaver. Thanks to Jeff and toast, I didn't haul ass down it cause I knew features were coming. The second half was a border cross course. Kind of fun I thought. Wanted to ride til 10 but left at 9:30 mainly cause I kept having to wring the water out of my gloves. I had fun despite the weather. I may have literally been the only paying customer there lol. There were a lot of race kids there cause it looked like both razors and night weaver were prepared for events that got cancelled1 point
