Buddy and wife are currently skinning Stowe.

Looks like temps at lower elevations are going to be too warm to make snow today, so I expect those mountains that can benefit from a snowmaking loop on the upper mountain will do so. Just heard that Killington has finally lit up the Great Northern loop that will at least allow people to ski to the NRT. They will probably lose temps on Superstar this morning, but they have plenty of trails on the NRT pod to reroute that capacity to. I wouldn't be surprised if they start the upper mountain loop to Snowdon. Lots of people not happy they won't be t2b this weekend, but with the WC, I think everyone with common sense expected that. If I was I wouldn't be consulting with you. You're a greenhorn compared to me.

You're old and rusty. You don't know the first thing about chasing the east coast early season nowadays...

The cold this morning really surprised me when I took the dog out. I guess it really is almost that time!

It was actually warmer at 5 am than it is now.  It looks really windy out too, just looking out my window.  I'm procrastinating big time, need to go outside.
