7th snowiest winter in history for Philadelphia with 30 inches so far

30” is about Allentowns average and that’s about what we’ve had so far. Or two snowiest winters were 93-94 and 95-96 both around 75”. 93-94 we had a snowpack longer than this winter.

How late did you get home?  Shows the benefit of garage parking

I got home shortly after 3 AM.  My bags actually made the second connecting flight (which I missed because the doors were already closed for boarding), so they were already at the American Airlines baggage desk when I got there, which was nice.  I usually use one of the off-site parking places (SmartPark is my go-to) because they always get me to the airport right away...but in this case, yeah, garage parking would've been nice.

Looks like a heat wave for the second week of March.  70s

I'd be interested to see how long that lasts and the impact on Camelback's claim of making it to May.

May they make it to May? Maybe they may... who can say?

The radio spot they have running cracks me up every morning “staying open until May!”

There’s a good chance they’ll make it happen. Oz purchased the peak to peak pass so he can for sure get his 100 days in

If they bank a lot of snow, push it into a pile and don't let anyone on it through April, they can totally have a muddy day in May with a walk at each end of the snow pile.

BB used to have a May Day rail jam.

If they're going to try and operate lift served skiing through April though I doubt it. That pile will whittle away quick.

Fuuuuck. And I'm stuck going to Stowe that week. Now I don't wanna. I wanna go to Virginia instead.

It's still super cold up there. I've been eyeing Stowe that week too. Hit me up if you're still planning to go.

Once we get into late March and beyond the daylight hours and angle of the sun just vaporizes snow here in MASH mid Atlantic ski he’ll. Blue definitely doesn’t have a lot of base like camelback so sadly I’ll prob be slumming it there in April and maybe May.  But gotta focus on enjoying the rest of February first.
