Damn... Was hoping that it might have worked out time wise and I could've saved you some coin if I could get you back/forth. I'm like 10 miles from Phl. You're still welcome to leave your car at my place if an Uber back and forth would be cheaper than parking it though. I've never actually used lyft or Uber before so I have no idea how much that would cost though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

Nah, water. Number one tip I got about skiing out west was that you can’t hydrate too much, so I figured it would be a good investment. Was nice having water anytime I wanted it.3 points

Thats ok. Strippers will pretty much show up where ever you would like them to. Birthday parties, bar mitvah, poker game, end of season party at Blue, etc.3 points

They are pretty nimble and easy to ski, you don't always have to be pressing the tongues to get them to dance but they are certainly more aggressive. They are pretty awesome skis but I don't think they'll help him touch a boob or anything......well maybe Doug's boob.3 points

It would cost me a lot more money in hotels and gas for sure, as I'd likely be hitting Stratton weekends with the girls and Killington or Sugarbush weekends without them (or maybe fly up to visit my buddy with a place in Sunday River) - and also plan a couple western trips. And overall would ski a lot more as I would ski 2-3 days on those weekends. And weekends without the girls I would likely shorten the trip to VT by going straight to/from my office in Jersey City. But I dont mind spending more for a higher quality skiing product. I just dont want to spend more than I have to for PA skiing. Not sold on it yet, but it is a tempting deal with the kids pass rates being good only next season for them. Want to see what Peak has to offer too.2 points

nice report. the light was really flat and def made for some interesting sliding. it was colder than forecasted in the AM, which bummed me out. the grooming report stated that WL and Boomer were ungroomed....but there wasn't a mogul to be seen. oh well.2 points

Economy lot is the way to go. I'm not messing with these third party places or whatever. Last time I flew PHL I was on Southwest who's terminal is the closest to the Economy lot and I actually got a parking spot near the lot entrance so I just walked for 5 minutes to my car.2 points

My girlfriend found an old Dunkin Donuts giftcard I had in a drawer for some reason. She kept asking for me to give it to her so I put it in her stocking at Christmas. It had a balance of $.57. Best gift I've ever given.2 points

Got there around 8:30 and parked in the third row. I was shooting for an 8 AM arrival but I wasn't feeling that great the past few days...my daughter was sick last weekend - she picks up all kinds of germs at day care and usually passes them on. Did a few runs on Cannonball and Runaway/Fast Track, and checked on the Long Haul (wasn't running). Conditions were pretty firm/packed powder and frozen cord. Did a few runs on smoke/boomer and then decided to crack the lift beer I was saving for the Long Haul. Lapped Boomer and Smoke for a bit and then did 3 runs on White Lightning. Pretty much everything was groomed flat except for some small bumps on the left side of White Lightning. Had a nice fall - belly flopped and slid catching a bump I didn't see. After that I checked on the Long Haul again, but still not running. I did some runs on Rattler to Cannonball and just kept hitting Boomer/Smoke. Rattler had some cookies at the top but wasn't too bad. I called it a day around 11:30 since I still wasn't feeling that great. I skipped Breaker Brewing this time...wife wants to go out to dinner and after a few beers and some food there I usually don't eat the rest of the day. I did stop at Saucony Creek in Kutztown for a quick lunch (short rib sliders and an IPA). Overall not a bad day. I was hoping the sun would come out and the snow would soften up a bit, but that didn't really happen.1 point

Economy shuttle is fine for loading ski bags and luggage. That was one of my concerns since I overanalyze things sometimes, but the shuttle is no problem-o.1 point

The valet at Parking Spot was so awesome. Pull into the garage, they unload your bags and the shuttle is right there in the garage with you. Then they parked your car for you. Took you to the airport. On the way back, call them when you land so they pull your car in. Get your bags and jump on the Parking Spot shuttle. First stop is in the valet garage, jump out and right into your cleaned off, warmed up car. RIP, Parking Spot valet service. Not sure if whoever bought them kept the service, but I can't vouch if they did/1 point

I use Preflight Outdoor Parking as low as $8.94* per day That's with their printable coupon and making a reservation in advance. Their buses run pretty regularly. They're on Island Avenue. Preflight1 point

If you don't want to park in the 30$ a day short term lot the only place to park is the economy lot after E. Once you start heading out the airport on the right hand side right before you go to get on the highway or go to the way out there lot you'll see a sign for economy parking. Pull in there, it's like 11$ a day and you can walk to any of the gates. Maybe it will be 7.95 or something if you ride the bus but then you gotta ride the bus and who the fuck wants to do that. 99% of peeps, like Salty don't even know the lot is there and go to the way out there lots. https://www.google.com/maps/@39.8819245,-75.2404664,3a,75y,5.68h,84.01t/data=!3m5!1e1!3m3!1s_qs8oaTyYoDMvZZBLtjSBQ!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo1.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3D_qs8oaTyYoDMvZZBLtjSBQ%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D245.99742%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D1001 point

Actually I live outside of Reading (Sinking Spring). Nothing's wrong with Blue, but I couldn't pass up the $ 150 season pass to Montage. Montage is ~20 min further than Blue for me, I usually make pretty good time on 476. Honestly though, I'll pretty much ride anywhere...I'm pretty easily entertained. Planning on at least one trip to Blue later in the season. I'll have to check that out. It has actually been pretty good this year up until today. And yeah, Cloudy is great, I picked up cans of that and Tickle Parts. Last time I checked it was 10 am or so and it wasn't running. I asked and they were planning on opening it, but not sure if it ever did.1 point
