I'll ski with you at CB Saltman. And you not posting isn't something I'd want actually...maybe when you were new but definitely not now. I'd say around 50% of your posts make me chuckle and in the summer you ball out on your bike and travel to the rockies to take decent shots with your semi jitterbug. I think the stakes should be a little higher...maybe something like if you can convince Dan and Toast to ski with you at CB for a full day, you'd have to sing a karaoke version of "Old Town Road" in the Blue parking lot while dressed like a cowboy using your RTMs as the horse.

I feel like youth sports have taken away from families skiing for the entire winter season. It’s impossible to take more than a weekend or two off during the winter if your kids are involved in basketball. I told my girls their winter sport was skiing and that was it.

Guns coming back on. Word on the street is that Main is not top to bottom...yet. Hopefully they have some time over the next few nights to make that happen.

Checked out the Buckman’s tent sale tonight in Whitehall. Bought his Patagonia and hers Burton new ski pants in the upstairs loft for $170. Picked up the little one’s first and second pair of used boots for $30. They had pretty good prices and selection. Almost grabbed a HH jacket for $215 but didn’t like the fit. They also had very good condition 181 orange 1080s for $25 that I’m kicking myself for not getting now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Skied Jay 2 days. they've gotten 34" of snow so far. Powdergasms for 2 runs. Skied FIS and Dempsey glades this morning. 6 degrees in the lot, prolly around zero up top.

Its like an actual store now where you can walk around and find things and not always be standing in someones way. It was quaint and all before, but terrible layout for retail.

You know Blue mountain is gonna be busy Saturday when even my non skiing customers and people at the bank are talking about Blue opening Saturday. Before social media they’d be open a week or two before the crowds came.

Hunter will have 2 TTB runs open tomorrow Hellgate > 7th > Kennedy Belt Parkway Pretty nice opening. 1500' of goodness including a black off the top and a blue to funnel off the amateurs. Could well be worth the trip. You can only ski one run at a time, and the Hellgate run is better than anything anyone else will be offering this weekend south of VT.

To clarify...I would only ski CB later in the season on a day that Blue is closed, usually in the spring and never when the weekend circus is in town. Oh and preferably for free on that Alien pass. Only then will Salty and I tackle the spine tingling steeps of Basslicker.

Salty I said I had fun skiing camelback last season with Root and TP4...it was actually worth the price of admission that day. Oh wow you almost got me with the for a week thing...clever...OK millennial hehehehe

Me Root and TP4 had a blast at camelback this past April. Of course the price was right...free.
