My yard goes about halfway to that tree line. The rest is hay fields for the horse farm on the other end of my property. I wish it was all mine! I had to spend 5.5 hours in a conference room on Tuesday and it almost killed me. I slept for 10 hours last night and I'm still tired as hell. RootDKJ Posted July 20, 2014 Report Share Posted July 20, 2014 I think you're correct. Brewing implies heating, much like you'd brew some coffee or tea. Brewing mead is heating of honey and water and maybe some fruits. Fermenting is infecting a sugar/starch water (wort) with yeast and allowing the yeast to convert the sugar to alcohol.
