Especially if they arent good enough to even get on a lift. Skiing is for rich people after all. Sundays in January are the best time to take a never ever. $50 for the lesson, beginner lift and rental. In my first timer group from 3 years ago only about 1/2 of us were ready to try the school triple chair by the end of the lesson. Shadows only 15% of people who try skiing become lifelong participants. It's not for everybody luckily I'm an agile mofo. And I would say that most people who ski at blue are not rich. Barb Posted March 7, 2017 Report Share Posted March 7, 2017 (edited) 15 degrees and windy. All groomed , wind blew away anything fresh. Yesterday was a spicy drive up. Whiteout from Monarch Pass to Gunnison. Lots of cars in ditches on 285. White knuckle for sure. Some of the snow melted in town but not much.
