Ride the lift up to the fucking top of the mountain. Take the fucking water slide down to Uncle Bills, then hop on the fucking mountain coaster, and be prepared to jump off at Sullivan Trail. This is the Circus that you signed up for. Oh, by the way, both the water slide and mountain coaster are double blacks, so you are good to go. Dont forget to turn on your go pro.6 points

Guy from Wasatch Snow Forecast. Ignore him. Fast forward to about 30 seconds in, then start paying attention to the background.2 points

If it's not fixed I'll talk to Barb or Jim about it. I have a decent amount of pull at Blue. I'm essentially an unpaid PR person for them.2 points

The dedicated VIP line was there last weekend (on the left side)? Maybe they're not putting it up on weekdays? I bet it'll be there next week.2 points

Ha ha, I like how the weeknight teenagers always avoid riding with me because they think I'm an old narc. If they'd ever share a chair with me, I could say : "Dudes, I've been to nine Grateful Dead shows and a prison rodeo. My friends and I were once kicked out of Shea Stadium for drunkenly heckling Keith Hernandez. I lived in New Orleans for five years; my favorite bar didn't have a back wall. You cannot do anything on this chair that will shock me." But when I move forward and they don't, leaving me alone on a six-pack chair I also want to say "Suck it, jerks. I have a car and can buy my own booze. Enjoy the ride home with your parents."2 points

It's early; hopefully they will rope off a line soon. if they don't have a legitimate bypass for season pass holders they are going to spend all season getting yelled at on FB.1 point

Nah. It's usually those who take a week off, drive 6 hours, rent a house and are just stuck with the weather.1 point

Due to this major error, I'm considering getting a pass for Blue. But Blue can't get their opening times right on social media, so I guess it's Montage then.1 point

Came across this article other day. “You don’t wait for a good day to go skiing. You make the best day possible out of it. There’s a ‘roll up your sleeves and get it done attitude’ in general.” —Jason Levinthal https://www.powder.com/stories/wicked-pissah/a-skier-goes-east/?utm_campaign=trueAnthem%3A+Trending+Content&utm_content=5a39e04c04d3013907847421&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=facebook And one for Salty, almost what GSS said. "That’s a big reason many of us love it—it asks something of you, pushes you out of your comfort zone, and makes you feel accomplished when you succeed."1 point

When I demo'd skis at Blue's demo day last year, when it was free, it was a warmish, mashed potato, push-pile kind of day. I immediately noticed a difference as soon as I got on something that was stiffer and wider than my beginner skis, which were Head Primal Instincts. I was more confident in my ability to hold my line and cut through the mess, and so was able to charge harder and felt a lot stronger. I demo's the Rossi Experience HD in 75, which was okay, and then tried the 88 which I immediately loved. I moved over to Volkl and tried the RTM86 and liked them as much or even a little more than the 88. Then I tried something by Soloman in a 95 width but it was a little to wide for me that day. I decided to jump on the best deal I could find on either the Rossi 88 or RTM86, and did when Camelback put their used demos on sale in March.1 point
