GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted February 27, 2017 Report Posted February 27, 2017 Guns still blasting at Blue. Good stuff. Supposed to be 70 and rain Wednesday but should be another good night of snowmaking Friday night. Temperature is already rising went from 24 to 26 in the A in last hour.

GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted February 27, 2017 Report Posted February 27, 2017 I think bear creek will close soon maybe this weekend so Blue will get a boost in business from the BC instructors and regulars.
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 7, 2017 Report Posted March 7, 2017 FYI blue is closed tomorrow for rain.
Shadows Posted March 7, 2017 Report Posted March 7, 2017 I was gonna go tomorrow too. Its like 40-60% chance up until noon. If theyre closing in a week stay open wtf 1

If theyre closing in a week stay open wtf They always close with rain in the forecast. Anyway should be fine weather Wednesday to Sunday. Showers in the forecast morning and night. The old Ray Tuthill blue never closed for rain. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to ski 61 days in a row. Edited March 7, 2017 by GrilledSteezeSandwich
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Blue blew snow again overnight. Could be good today!!!
moe ghoul Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Impressive. That's the season passholders bonus, good to see them say fuck it, let's blow snow and see where this takes us. I won't be back until the end of the month, maybe they'll hold on til then. 2

momskeeztoo Posted March 14, 2017 Report Posted March 14, 2017 I was really happy to see how good everything looked there today. Haven't been to Blue for almost 2 weeks. I think they are shooting for April. This weekend should be a huge money maker for them.
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 14, 2017 Report Posted March 14, 2017 Dumping at Blue...storm is ahead of schedule and no Virga.. 1
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 Just looked at the webcams and snowing at blue. Maybe some snow this weekend as well.
momskeeztoo Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 Had a few snow squalls come through today when I was there

GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted November 9, 2017 Report Posted November 9, 2017 The snowmaking cannon is set up on vista ready to blow.
indiggio Posted November 9, 2017 Report Posted November 9, 2017 A cohort was driving past Blue yesterday and said he saw a flatbed carrying a bunch of new fan guns driving up. 5
RidgeRacer Posted November 9, 2017 Report Posted November 9, 2017 I drove past this morning. All grass and no white stuff from what I could see. Unless they hit Vista with something (which you can't see from the road of course)

Unless they hit Vista with something (which you can't see from the road of course) The wet bulb temperature was way too high for snowmaking. It's moist out there.
