That's pretty good I think considering it's pre Christmas and all that.

Conditions will always be pretty shit first day but that's all part of the fun I'd say.

Real question do the lifts run reliably ?

I’m sure they’ll wait until 845am Friday to find out remember when me Jeff and NMSki were stuck on the quad for almost an hour??? That was the opposite of awesome. Wait what Johnny mofo law showed up late and got more runs than us

Evergreen question. You know the answer to that.

I've been on the reverse side of that too but I agree they won't check until it's time to go..... on another note I had to buy a boot bag at the end of last season as I had hurt my arm and couldn't carry them. When I opened it today I found a sweet vanta black cookie that had been stewing for months growing a full on mold metropolis and half a cart.

i did see the quad running at one point when i was looking at the cams.  so, i mean, it does run.

Run well is a completely different discussion.

When I was a kid a boot bag was an essential piece of gear and I haven’t had one in prob 20 years.  All the boomers have backpack boot bags some are heated I think.

And the main street express has spun at least once in the past few weeks, because the chairs were all loaded in the storage racks a few weeks ago, and now they're all on the rope 🤣

I couldn't get by without my heated boot bag. It gets plugged in the night before every ski day, and the warm shells are so much easier to put on in the morning. I've attempted to go back out before after taking off the boots in the lot and aborted the mission because the cold boots are too damn hard to put on, lol.

I'm old, soft, and unapologetic!

Gen X’ers and Elder millenials are basically boomers to anyone under 30 and we have a lot more in common with the Booms than Gen Alpha and the Zoomers but come this weekend, it won’t matter about your age or race cause everybody is gonna be in one place Ready to Touch the Sky and ski some manmade frozen and loose granular.

cue the Eddie Money two tickets to Paradise..they named the ski run after that song..don’t get me started on Dreamweaver..or FreeFall..no song about Barbs Bush just a former First Lady SMH

The ski club peeps still use them, I have a big Lange back pack style that I only put boots in on the way back but I almost never use it as I think I have ptsd from the ski tote.

Inside you have to be half naked to not sweat your ass off.

I wonder if they'll hit us with any surprise additions to the trail list for tomorrow? Their post did say more terrain opening over the weekend. I'm betting on Midway to lower main and Coming Soon added by Sunday, probably not for tomorrow.

If it stays cold, Razors maybe by next weekend? Certainly before Christmas. You can see they made snow on it already,  but clearly nowhere near enough

one would assume they are working on this as well right now.

Snowmaking weather next week looks great.  i pretty confident we will have a few new additions every week, and christmas week will be fantastic.

Looks like temps went in our favor.  they should really start getting some decent production starting tonight.  look at friday and beyond.  if that confirms, well that may even put Ben in a good mood.
