Looks like it’s camelback and blue in PA. Elk is closed. Montage is gonna try to reopen next weekend weather permitting. Shawnee is closed. Bear is closed of course. JFBB is closed. In Western pa seven springs is closed. Blue knob is closed. Down south liberty, whitetail and round top are closed. Up north in the skillz plattekill is selling tix for next weekend and belle is touting 50 plus trails.

Looking at next weeks forecast, I sadly and realistically think Sunday will be closing day.   Looks like decent weather this weekend at least.  Tomorrow I have to help with deliveries and have a morning appointment Friday so ski most of you Saturday.

The sucky part is, it gets kinda cold at night this weekend, so i am anticipating less than spring conditions, which kinda sucks, cause i am with you.  not seeing next weekend.  if we are going out this weekend, i would prefer more spring like conditions.  and some really sketchy skiing on something.

But Camelback with have many largely distinct trails open the following weekend.

It is melting so fast just looked at the webcams. They did a good job snowmaking on homestretch this season. Back in the Ray Tuthill days, Blue often closed with 100% of the terrain open including april 5th in 1994 and April 10th in 1996.  I actually prefer seeing a ski area close because they run out of snow not customers and Blue has 7,000 season passholders

Just purchased my season pass for next season. $699 I don’t care about not getting a gift card.  I’ve never used any of the past gift cards.

If you never used them, they're still good. Search your email for the numbers, lol

If this daylight savings time passes I guess we'll be doing some night skiing at 8 am. @GrilledSteezeSandwich make sure you text Matt Edge to bring his head lamp

Blue can just open at 9am on the weekends, give the late birds some more time.  I’m nervous Matt edge might send a dick picture and I’m not talking about Dick Clark, Andy Dick, or Dick Tracey.

thats right.  i keep forgetting which way they want to do this, this time around.  it was if they kept standard time we would have wicked early sunrise.

this way we get 8:30 sunrise in the winter.  awesome.
