Hopefully that $399 pass to Toe pulls some people away from Blue. i doubt the Blue pass will be $399. 2 2

Hopefully that $399 pass to Toe pulls some people away from Blue. i doubt the Blue pass will be $399. i still think it'll be 699 but i'm a little less confident than i was because the senior pass price got modified substantially. the more ppl it pulls away from blue, the better. imagine looking at a peak to peak and trying to justify whether another $500 is really worth it to ski blue. cbk never mentioned it, but there's a good chance this is some kind of flash sale for just a few days. i'll admit it's a hell of a price if one skis cbk. RidgeRacer Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 It's gonna be $699. Think about it. The peak to peak needs to look like it's a deal. Blue (assuming it's $699) plus cb at $400 is $1100. With the Peak to peak being $899 they'll be able to say that you're saving $200 if you buy peak to peak as opposed to purchasing each pass separately. Blue only will be $699. Maybe they'll give us the $50 gift card again. 2

Icecoast Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 thats a deal and a half...then add on an indy and youre set. Hopefully BC makes an announcement before montages discount window is over. Im between the two. bear is less than half the distance than montage. 2

Montage is 2 hours and CBK is awkward to get to (NE ext to 22 to 33 to I80) and ends up being like 1hr45min. I get out a lot more now since its so much closer. 1

If I want to ride somewhere bigger ill use indy. I definitely wont be going back to CB after my experience last week. I think BC with indy add on is the move. 3

And if you think about it, there is a point where the season pass is too cheap, and would draw more crowds. Its unlikely anybody on this board, is going to have $100-$200 be the reason they dont buy a pass to wherever/whatever their fav pass product is. 2
Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 (edited) Pretty sure I am gonna get the Camelback unlimited to supplement my free Indy+ pass. if I go twice this spring after Epic closes up in PA that knocks the effective price down to like 300 as I’m sure I would have spent at least $50 to pay to ski each day. If I use those 3 free tix to ski with my kids that likely knocks the effective price down to $100 For that $100 I get a more appealing PA destination when considering location lifts and terrain than any of the PA options on Indy, and I need more PA days than the 8 that Indy provides me Pretty much a no brainer, so I will say goodbye to Epic and do my New England and Western skiing on Indy next season Edited February 18 by Ski2Live Live2Ski

RidgeRacer Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 I was thinking about getting Indy jones tattooed to my butt check for a free Indy pass next year. 1 6
Schif Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 From seeing all of this, I think it's really interesting that Blue is now the more valuable pass over Camelback, which kind of always felt like the crown jewel of PA ski resorts years ago.
theprogram4 Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 (edited) If we are paying much more than camelback to ride blue, shouldn’t we receive the sweet bubble lift with cockpit style seats? Hell, do like park city and make the seats heated Edited February 18 by theprogram4 1

JFskiDan Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 i wonder where season pass #'s fall in line with hotel guests type lift tickets. like, are the large majority of skiers at Toe from the hotel on a daily basis?

Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 (edited) I doubt the hotel’s capacity is enough to contribute more than 10% of skiers. Hotel guests aren’t occupying any of the non hotel parking spaces, the hotel draws many who are more into tubing and water parking, and it is a location that is an easy day trip from NYC, Philly, and all of NJ Edited February 18 by Ski2Live Live2Ski 1

But Walter got bumped down to student pass, and next year he's getting bumped to no pass, so I'm only at 2 full passes. I then blow $300+ on a locker though, so who am I to complain about pass prices? 😆
