Drive down and turn right, despite signs indicating you shouldn't, toward the hotel. Park in the big lot to the right by sunbowl. Went off the trail and hit his elbow on something metal. Skied it out, went up, watched pond skin for awhile. Went in and claimed his mug and had a beer. Ugly-skied down Burma to the valley. When he took his jacket off and I finally got a look at it, I knew stitches were in his future. Thought we were done here but they just came in and said they needed to xray his elbow.
