My aunt tested positive as did my coworker’s MIL.  Both are in nursing homes.

Ugh, sorry to hear!  Hope the cough is the worst of it.

Unfortunately it’s starting to make inroads into nursing homes now, which could be quite bad.

1205 new infection since yesterday which is a decrease from the last two days.  I heard if the number goes down 14 days in a row things could start opening back up.

Let's hope. Went to the store today. Most people were wearing masks but there were a few people, of course, mask-less, on their phones, getting close to people, acting like nothing was going on. Either they're fucking stupid or living under a rock. My money's on they're fucking stupid.

Would be nice to see that trend continue for a bit.
I saw this chart of the impact of lifting restrictions during the 1918 flu. Definitely one of my fears if that happens too quickly. Luckily now there are steps and phases to ease restrictions over longer periods of time.

Hopefully, with a ton more communication methods available nowadays, the outcome will be different.  Also hope they look back at the history of the Spanish flu and learn from the mistakes made back then!

So masks not required in stores? NJ is no mask/no entry policy statewide. Food stores have one way soles too which makes it easier.

I had my wife pick me up after my Schuylkill River trip at a park a bit north of Reading yesterday.  The kayak launch/landing is a good bit away from the rest of the park, so not really any people there...but on the way out, I saw two large groups of people (15 or 20 each), hanging out, grilling, etc.  Idiots.

Looks like there were a bunch of issues with the PPP loans...larger businesses like chain restaurants and hotels supposedly ate up a lot of the funding, and Wells Fargo is getting sued for prioritizing loans based on what would get them the largest processing fees.  Sounds like more of the loans will be processed this week, so I'm guessing my wife will be busy at work again

No porn in that 6 weeks?  Or is that a given since it's a daily routine?
