GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted December 26, 2020 Report Posted December 26, 2020 Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot before 720am and Johnny law was already in the house. The temperature was about 20 with a moderate west wind making it feel much cooler. Also in the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, Mute, Ryan, PSUGuy, Falco, Mixilplx, Enjorales, BenMEddie, Pops, enjorales cousin, Bethlehem Ford Guy, Toast, Slim, Liftee Bob, GahSkier George, Antman, Rodney, Marty, Charles, Charles Dad and many more. First run most of the PASRs went f R razors which is now open..I went for challenging which was surprisingly good with nice groomed a few whoop dees..after the falls was a little hole in the middle of the run would have got me if I wasn’t such an agile mofo..they actually lollipopped it off about an hour later. Lazy mile was cookieville, Main Street was nice with nice smooth cord at the top..a few guns and floaty manmade poe middle and a mish mash lower down. Paradise had nice chalky manmade..everybody enjoyed that run. Nightmare to Dream Weaver opened today as well I didn’t go on it cause I figured it would be pretty bad but only Blue opens two major runs a day after a monsoon with guns blasting on lower park, Central Park, lower sidewinder, switchback and widowmaker. Fun parking lot...Charles dad gave me a cookie and later Pops bought two pizza pies from the stand w buffalo chicken and a pepperoni and they were MSY mad steezy yo...the temperature never got out of the 20s..all in all it was just another day in paradise and tomorrow should be slightly warmer. 5 1
toast21602 Posted December 26, 2020 Report Posted December 26, 2020 Way better than expected. Paradise was ROTD and Lac des Bleu is back under the 6er. 7 1

Mixilplix Posted December 26, 2020 Report Posted December 26, 2020 I never even noticed the lake under the six....Paradise was super nice...but a few trails to the left it was total shit...Wish they would have had the quad running at opening... 4
Benm Posted December 26, 2020 Report Posted December 26, 2020 NM / DW was ok, I hit it a couple times. There were a few spots that could have been better but, compared to lazy mile and lower main, it was pretty good.

PSUFrankenstein Posted December 26, 2020 Report Posted December 26, 2020 Paradise was good...nightmare dreamweaver was ok. I hit that the most since it was empty Parking lot was good as usual...pops bought pizza which was awesome 5
Mixilplix Posted December 26, 2020 Report Posted December 26, 2020 When I saw that 911 wheel in right away this came to mind....Robert Redford driving this 911T in the movie Downhill Racer...I really dig the narrow body 911.... 5
enjoralas Posted December 26, 2020 Report Posted December 26, 2020 I forgot to go in and bitch about Razor’s being roped off in direct violation of the Governor’s ban on organized youth sporting activities. I can’t even fathom the value of the gift card I surely left on the table. 2 4
JFskiDan Posted December 26, 2020 Report Posted December 26, 2020 When you go into the day with low expectations, like a 3, and come out with a 6 or so, theres not much to complain about. Paradise was money, and then NMDW for me. Challenge and Main had lots of varying conditions that i will complain about at a later date, possibly in a different thread, when it makes no sense to be complaining about something. Mute and jlaw showed up with a lot of good beer. 3 1

Pretty much this. I expected things to be so much worse. With the exception of lazy, today wasn't nearly as bad as what I had expected. It was ok. Edited December 26, 2020 by Benm
AtomicSkier Posted December 26, 2020 Report Posted December 26, 2020 The lake was quite large today. Definitely 2+ ft deep. Much better day than I was expecting. What a pleasant surprise. 6
RidgeRacer Posted December 26, 2020 Report Posted December 26, 2020 Stunning. Reminds me of Moraine Lake in the Canadian Rockies. 4 2 1
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted December 26, 2020 Author Report Posted December 26, 2020 Did anybody ski skytop today? 1
antman12 Posted December 26, 2020 Report Posted December 26, 2020 Yup, better than expected. New park layout is cool, didn’t really mess around too much in there yet. Paradise was ROTD and a few gapers may have been sprayed with some fresh man made perder. Sorry not sorry. Also ollied the slow sign on paradise a few times. Pretty stoked on that haha. 2
