  1. Hey All, I’m back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain…closing day perhaps or likely even though it’s not officially closing day. I arrived at 720am and it was in the upper 40s under mostly cloudy skys. In the house were most of the PASRs. First I had a couple mimosas and no shortage of orange juice. JFDan brought an egg casserole and a French toast one and both outstanding. We hit the hill closer to 9am and first was paradise which was thinner than yesterday and ok. Razors edge next and it was the run of the day. It was like three runs in one..bumps and bare spots to start..then choppy non bumps then smoother. I repeated that the entire rest of my first ski session. Back to the lot for sausage, Ribs, steak and all sorts of other things..I had some of the boozy ice coffee that PSUFlyGuy brought and some of the beer Dirtwolf brought and then went back out for a couple more runs. Razors was extra slushy and more bare at the top. I hit some rocks but no damage to my skis. Lazy mike had lots of loose rocks. I wanted to do a poach of the chute and lower Main Street but didn’t. Back in the lot more food and beer and did a shot of Jack with the Boomers and the peanut butter whiskey Dime brought..hungout some more probably got a lot of sunburn, busted out a quick lap and peaced out at like 3pm. All in all fun fun fun

  4. Good day, all the food was awesome, keg of lawsons was great Mostly stuck to razors, soft bumps and random mud patches. Would've been nice to have the six pack open to run lazy and razors

  5. Today’s skiing was so special, but the company, food and drinks were excellent. I definitely got some sunburn, well worth it.

  7. They gated off Lazy around 3:30pm RIP. Great having a couple drinks w everyone! Hope we get one more weekend. Rumors I heard was potentially only the Vista chair and the School Hill carpet for that park if they dont make enough snow, if they do maybe Burma to the bottom.

  8. Blue actually did a pretty decent job on the season pass party and it was quite the crowd. Both upstairs rooms in the Summit lodge were in play, with a live band from the start. Meal included a drink in a free Blue color changing mug, which I used to get a Stacy's Mom IPA. Appetizers which I didn't get to sample were fried shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, egg rolls. The meal options were salad, lemon chicken, sliced pork, meatballs, rigatoni in sauce, sausage, cooked veggies and roll. Dessert options were chocolate chip cookies, vanilla/chocolate cupcakes and brownies. Some of the door prizes that I saw people won were hats, T-shirts, hoodies, snowboards.

  10. @PSUFrankenstein the last picture makes it look like Blue has great coverage if you have tunnel vision. I love the spicy top of razors. You were rippin it up on razors and yeah even on skis with poles and skating was slow slow slow getting to razors.I was a little behind you one of the razors runs and you keep a really steady speed and stay in the fall line…. Also they changed the Main Street cam if only somebody like salty could have taken a screen shot of some chute poachers getting yelled at by ski patrol…can always use the shaggy defense,”It Wasn’t Me”

  12. Majestic day, closing is always the worst and the best but I did soooooo much laughing. Johnny Utah, mutes daisy dukes, gss spitting bars, Enjo's redonk feast, chute rebel run, jfdan with a killer French toast, etc etc etc I got home at 730 but if it was up to me I would have stayed and kicked the keg, I just so did not want the day to end........ no crew does it better, it was an honor and if someone goes past the lot help dirty finish the keg

  13. Little Sip of Sunshine? If I knew that I would have helped you drink that keg! Nice pictures everyone, I’ve been slacking in that department. It’s just too depressing looking at the hill. It was nice meeting a few of you later in the day. I met about 25 people today, I need to start making name tags.

  14. My son is pretty good at taking pictures through the telescope lenses. Nice weather I’m disappointed I was tied up the last two days and couldn’t get out skiing.

  19. Good to know. Barring surprise snow I have skied my last PA day and last NYS day. Looking forward to 4 VT days 3/24-26 3 CO days 3/28-30 That will likely end my season - earlier than any recent year (other than 19-20 for obvious reasons)

  20. The blue, Bunny Schuss or something like that? Or the black just lookers right of that, Draufganger? I enjoy Draufganger, though it is short. Lapped the hell out of one day a few years back one of those years when BB was hanging on after the rest closed

  21. Interesting…the trail to the far lookers left big boulder park run is a decent 400 vert shot accessed by its own lift which is pretty direct. I remember skiing 11 runs and hour off it night skiing.

  23. Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot around 7:28am and it was in the high 20s under mostly sunny skys. In the house was everybody but Salty, Antman, Schifdawg, Toast, PARidge, Zonked, Boo and Nancy. A lot of people in the quad lineup and I began on Paradise which had decent grooming and narrow in a few spots. Next run was lazy mile and not as good and the only option is skiing the whole mile. After that was the chute which was just about to get start. Lower Main Street was rowdy with frozen cookies and holes. Razors not that good, gotta stay in your lane due to channels and what not. I didn’t get in nightmare but did a Paraweaver run and Dreamweaver was not that good but good coverage. I mainly skied the chute the rest of the time with one more paradise run. The chute was full on spring snow by like 9am left side of lower Main Street also a smoother option. Fun parking lot today with chips and beers and MBike mike made sausage sandos. I never made it to the season pass party, I’m at work now mainly to pee, smoke a bowl and count money. See most of y’all for the party tomorrow. JADIP

  24. Today was an awesome appetizer to tomorrow. They did an absolute spectacular job putting that crap back together enough to ski. Chute was actually pretty ok and mbike brought the sausage. Pretty sweet day for equal parts dirt and snow.

  27. Nothing crazy, but just seems like most of the stuff I threw together this year is pork. Ribs, pulled pork, pork belly burnt ends . . . even the stuffing for the Atomic Buffalo turds

  29. @Johnny Law said it best when he likend skiing tonight at blue to Ponce DeLeon exploring the high seas. Every single run was navigating... around some sort of bare, brown, rock, stone you name it. Some spots required a leap or mandatory dirt. I can't recall seeing blue this thin. Still fun no doubt, but a definite sense of relief, when done, if you and or your equipment made it out unscathed. That kinda night for sure

  30. Skied with Edge, benm, lady M and Ridge....holy fuck is it getting interesting, lots of mandatories or your in the dirt. The water bar on dis has made an all snow passage impossible and everything has at least a spot of oh shit. Twice while route finding I ran out of snow. In all my years I've never seen it so thin and accordingly so technical. It was an absolute hootenany trying to ponce DeLeon your way down the hill without losing your ship to the rocks. Hyper fun, absolutely stellar night to be out. I'll run my shit straight through the shark teeth to get the goods but even by my standards I would highly advise the usage of your rock boards.
