Yesterday was one of those special days... First run of the day was probably the most joyful run of my life. Jacket all flappy and hair free flowin... Was determined to kick the keg before leaving and after review of the video evidence, I got home at 7:03pm. Thank you to those late stayers for your contributions to this valiant effort. Nothing like spending nearly 12 hours at Blue hahah. Everything was about as good as it gets. Great VIBES. Fantastic FOOD. Delicious DRINKS. Great SPICYYY spring conditions. If that was the last day of Blue's season, I am 100% content.11 points

lots and lots of fun on Sunday. Skiing on closing day should always be a little sketchy condition wise. Hate to see it end, but all good things must come to an end.8 points

The sun was bright ☀️. The snow was everything from boilerplate to pure slush. And a little bit of nice chalk in between. mountain reported 21” last week but the Cirque traverse was pretty rocky. Welcome to March sunshine. Great Scott was actually decent just the drop in was sketchy. Had a little late morning show as two guys had hiked up the peak and went into a (as I heard) a rarely open line called Pipeline. Winds were calm up top which I guess I can count as a win.6 points

Majestic day, closing is always the worst and the best but I did soooooo much laughing. Johnny Utah, mutes daisy dukes, gss spitting bars, Enjo's redonk feast, chute rebel run, jfdan with a killer French toast, etc etc etc I got home at 730 but if it was up to me I would have stayed and kicked the keg, I just so did not want the day to end........ no crew does it better, it was an honor and if someone goes past the lot help dirty finish the keg6 points

@DiMe Here is my official Park City 2024 trip report: Roy Rogers consumption before airplane trip. Best seat ever. So much room for activities. Grate cider at the Saloon, but $15 was ridonculous. "saltyant, take it to the Beer Thread". And finally, a perder shot. "saltyant, take it to the Perder Thread".5 points

Hey All, I’m back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain…closing day perhaps or likely even though it’s not officially closing day. I arrived at 720am and it was in the upper 40s under mostly cloudy skys. In the house were most of the PASRs. First I had a couple mimosas and no shortage of orange juice. JFDan brought an egg casserole and a French toast one and both outstanding. We hit the hill closer to 9am and first was paradise which was thinner than yesterday and ok. Razors edge next and it was the run of the day. It was like three runs in one..bumps and bare spots to start..then choppy non bumps then smoother. I repeated that the entire rest of my first ski session. Back to the lot for sausage, Ribs, steak and all sorts of other things..I had some of the boozy ice coffee that PSUFlyGuy brought and some of the beer Dirtwolf brought and then went back out for a couple more runs. Razors was extra slushy and more bare at the top. I hit some rocks but no damage to my skis. Lazy mike had lots of loose rocks. I wanted to do a poach of the chute and lower Main Street but didn’t. Back in the lot more food and beer and did a shot of Jack with the Boomers and the peanut butter whiskey Dime brought..hungout some more probably got a lot of sunburn, busted out a quick lap and peaced out at like 3pm. All in all fun fun fun2 points

The shuttle driver said we're getting a foot of snow tomorrow. That's not what my weather app says. That guy was telling us fake news2 points

@PSUFrankenstein the last picture makes it look like Blue has great coverage if you have tunnel vision. I love the spicy top of razors. You were rippin it up on razors and yeah even on skis with poles and skating was slow slow slow getting to razors.I was a little behind you one of the razors runs and you keep a really steady speed and stay in the fall line…. Also they changed the Main Street cam if only somebody like salty could have taken a screen shot of some chute poachers getting yelled at by ski patrol…can always use the shaggy defense,”It Wasn’t Me”2 points

Spicy Chicken Deluxe. You should try one some time. Grilled Steeze Sandwich told me that you can access the Roy Rogers on the turnpike rest stop from the employee entrance, so you can eat delicious chicken sandwiches and not even have to pay a toll scam.1 point

I don’t have to force myself to go. The sunshine will make it great. I went Sunday and the visibility was so bad. Just white on white on white.1 point

They don’t offer refunds, just credit so any tickets booked those days they prob wont be open they can use next season. Great idea from a cash flow perspective.1 point

The liftees were grilling and had like five two liters and blasting tunes and they were acting like it was the final day but rumors of vista next weekend1 point

I just checked the park city forecast looks like you’re having some excellent spring skiing.1 point

It's rad. Im sad I missed the best party ever. It probably wasn't good as that time BenM skied down the mountain on some wood, though.1 point

At least we have some options next weekend. If blue isn’t open (or open with just vista) I’d consider BB1 point

Little Sip of Sunshine? If I knew that I would have helped you drink that keg! Nice pictures everyone, I’ve been slacking in that department. It’s just too depressing looking at the hill. It was nice meeting a few of you later in the day. I met about 25 people today, I need to start making name tags.1 point

They gated off Lazy around 3:30pm RIP. Great having a couple drinks w everyone! Hope we get one more weekend. Rumors I heard was potentially only the Vista chair and the School Hill carpet for that park if they dont make enough snow, if they do maybe Burma to the bottom.1 point

I have been looking at different pass options. Indy looks great and the price is right, great option for a NE sklfari. I just don’t think I could convince anyone I know to travel around to all these different places, seeing how limited number of days are at each place.1 point

Scenerios for this weekend at Blue..I’ll choose 3wish @saltyant or @pops was around could prob come up with 5but let’s see. 1. only open for cardboard box derby and Easter egg hunt. 2. option 1 plus skiing and riding on easy out and vista with some sort of a bonk yard rail garden on school hill. 3. option 1 plus 2 plus they go hard blowing snow for like five hours each two nights this week and piece together a top to bottom route for the weekend using one of their famous high speed quads. You want slow lifts, blue is the wrong place.0 points

Start us a good TR @saltyant we're all back in PA depressed the only midweek option is Big Boulder.0 points

I guess their new line of business is profiting off the interest they make before issuing refunds.0 points
