Watching the Stevenson cam it's remarkable how uncrowded it looks. Rarely more than a handful of people on the camera at once, often less. If that were Blue with just Pdis open Homestretch would still be a crowded shit show, lol

It is a Wednesday and they announced the opening super last minute.

Cliffhanger and couple of the lower interior trails, Oak Grove and Turkey Trot being added tomorrow. That means they'll have to spin the Glen double as well. Good on them for getting Cliffhanger involved so early.

Doesn't sound like they had a choice if the Stevenson is their only high speed lift in operation.

Nile Mile was close to PP while Cliffhanger was more hard pack and got scraped down by 11. Never had to share a lift. Mostly skied off Stevenson as snowmaking was hitting part of Glenn lift ride.

There's a trail off Nile Mile that is sick on the rare occasion we get enough natural snow. You get back to Stevenson on the railroad.

He rose with the dawn, the mountain still hushed, dreams of first traax through perder uncrushed.  

Camelback waited, its slopes dressed in white, he hurried with RTMs, chasing morning’s light.  

But fate had a glitch—his pass wouldn’t scan, A random refusal, no part of the plan.  

No cocoa to warm him, no kindness bestowed,  Just cold winds that mocked as the lift never flowed.  

So he stood at the gate, both puzzled and keen, a skier delayed by a quirk unforeseen. 

Yet mountains endure, and tomorrow may show, fresh trails to redeem this small morning’s woe.
