The conditions at Elk are Fantastic. 10 trails open from the top, 2 more will open for the weekend probably. Both parks are now open and the surface tow is open in the big park. Groomed packed powder on all slopes. Upper Tunk is now groomed after about a week of being allowed to bump up. Temps were a brisk 18* up top when we started yesterday, but no wind and breaking sunshine for a "10" day. As usual on weekdays there were no crowds. I only saw one bus this whole season during the days. I imagine there were more school groups during the evening sessions. I haven't skied weekends so no comment on buses then, although overall weekend crowds have been reported as light. The Yukon Jack's were smooth sipping and the beer was cold... Just Another Season in Paradise!!

This morning is good. Looks and feels like winter. Conditions are 8/10. Best snow is on paradise. @JFskiDanand @Shadows Are somewhere. Important to note: RAZORS IS OPEN Switchback could be pushed out to go. NMDW is close to being ready to go. Lower Sidewinder needs more time. Sidewinder still snowless. Ski y’all tomorrow morning!

Just ripped 10 runs in 2 hours. granted 4 were off the new North lift which is only about 1000’ vert.

The car I had before that was a 1999 Saturn station wagon, so the CRV feels like a Porsche in comparison! Haha can’t complain about that Saturn, hauled lots of kids on ski trips. Fun times.

Ill be there today and tomorrow morning. Sunday looks like the rain will be after midnight and changes back over later morning. Probably won’t be there but I’ll have to watch the weather if anything changes. Best time to ski would actually be Saturday night...

Hey All, It’s almost another weekend is anybody gonna be at Blue mountain the true mountain? Saturday is a definite for me..Sunday is up in the air...looks the the possibility of several hours of rain or ice Sunday morning..but it’s 48 hours away it could change. For those of you who haven’t been to Blue in awhile..you’ll be pleasently surprised by all the recent snowmaking.

Fun night. Decent pretty much throughout with some slick spots to keep things interesting (crowds also kept things interesting). Snow cannons were on and in full force. We're only days away from Razors, NMDW and Switchback all being open. Exciting times!

Good day for a bar crawl

Hey All, I’m back from a fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot around 635pm and phillycore was just finishing up and also in the house were Atomic Jeff, Shadows, PARidge and MBIke mike along with about 20 buses. Temperatures were in the upper 20s with increasing clouds and moderate winds. Challenge was pretty slick, Main Street was pretty nice, lazy mile was as crazy as ever and paradise was good snow and no SP3000 action. The last two runs or snow it was snowing and I said that it probably wasn’t sticking in the A which atomic Jeff found funny...had a few parking lot beers and ready for some weather this weekend..JADIP we jamming..clock is off by an hour it came that way In March it will be the correct time

I got a bit drunk one night in June 2017 at an open bar event on a boat, when I was walking from there to where I was sleeping. Do I get a medal? Felt lousy the next day. Reminded me why I so seldom do it. Really don't need the calories either.
