Skied with Edge, benm, lady M and Ridge....holy fuck is it getting interesting, lots of mandatories or your in the dirt. The water bar on dis has made an all snow passage impossible and everything has at least a spot of oh shit. Twice while route finding I ran out of snow. In all my years I've never seen it so thin and accordingly so technical. It was an absolute hootenany trying to ponce DeLeon your way down the hill without losing your ship to the rocks. Hyper fun, absolutely stellar night to be out. I'll run my shit straight through the shark teeth to get the goods but even by my standards I would highly advise the usage of your rock boards.4 points

Just back from another quick session this morning. For some reason I thought it was cooler than yesterday so was quite a bit over dressed. As others have mentioned things are getting quite thin in places. Rode razors a few times, lazy and chute to lower main. Razors was real nice corn on the headwall and the bump line down skiers left after the headwall was very fun. Lazy had thin cover lollipops they don't lie. It is laughably thin through the mid-section and will be plenty rowdy in the best way this weekend (if it stays open). Chute continues to deliver the goods and lower main is holding up except for the crevasse and regular shit stains that have been there the past few days. See y'all in the morning.3 points

@Johnny Law said it best when he likend skiing tonight at blue to Ponce DeLeon exploring the high seas. Every single run was navigating... around some sort of bare, brown, rock, stone you name it. Some spots required a leap or mandatory dirt. I can't recall seeing blue this thin. Still fun no doubt, but a definite sense of relief, when done, if you and or your equipment made it out unscathed. That kinda night for sure3 points

I would probably go for third place. Matt Edge's worldly advice and wisdom would be life changing, but Ski2Live can probably get me some 50 cent coupons for Frontier Airlines.2 points

They have cared so little about being last to close in years past, i dont get it. Or, maybe now that Peak isnt around to keep BB open, they want the cup. whatever. i think if they open monday, they have a good shot at claiming the cup. The interesting thing is the Easter egg hunt is the 24th, and we think its on Vista. Im not sure if skiing on Vista, and having some kids running around looking for eggs is a really spectacular idea, but it sure does kind of sound like something Blue might do.2 points

Montage is trying. Their latest Faceplace post is talking about hoping for snowmaking temps this next week.2 points

I think announce that it will not be their closing day was a bad strategy but who knows what they might have up their sleeve. Groomer talk is this is closing weekend... tell @Benm to get on his radios and listen in.2 points

Challenge closed, Lazy pretty sketchy, DW/NM open. They pushed the snow on Falls down to Homestretch. Razors is nice.2 points

Iām also a slacker at trip reports sometimes. We skied Killington 3/4-3/7. Then skied Okemo 3/8. Conditions were ok, foggy, snow was soft, but not too bad. A lot of closed trails. Didnāt bother with Pico, as another of our friends were there and said it was terrible. Iād never skied Okemo. It was ok, at least the sun was out. It seemed Okemo has a lot of trails that cross each other. They need some tunnels!2 points

Iāve skied past 3 days. What fun! Folks were setting bumps all the way down Razors today. Lazy and bottom of Main not too bad. I saw the craziest thing, lots of folks poaching NM. I was on the lift and saw someone go head first into the big hole on NM, just below the jump. He was literally being held up by his snowboard. IDK whatās under there, but I was afraid he would drown The people in front of us called ski patrol, and we booked to the top of NM in case someone needed help getting him out. Turns out his friends got him out and they left. Then ski patrol came and were total Jack asses- threatening to pull everyoneās pass.2 points

BB is throwing it in after this weekend. JF is "we will see after this weekend" Skiing next weekend wont be worth the drive for me, imo. This weekend is really just about Chili Mac on Sunday.1 point

Every year we do a ski weekend for Mrs SnoBunSkiās birthday, so even though sheās still on the IRL for the rest of the season recovering from rotator cuff surgery, we headed North early Friday morning. First stop was a lunch break and a few runs at Magic Mountain. Iām trying to get a little value out of my mostly unused Indy Pass - I think Iām down to around 33 bucks a run lol - and check out the Black Line lift that is finally up and running. My second ride up I spotted the rope drop on Talisman and lapped that a few times, fun corn with a little walk across a grass patch to get back out. It was fuckinā blue bird! Got back on the road to Lake Bomoseen, a beautiful evening to light a fire to watch the sunset while we waited for the other couple we were skiing with to arrive. Saturday we skiād Killington, overcast and temps in the low thirties, conditions were rough with sugar piles and ice after the weekās rain. I skiād tele all day as one of the other skiers was a beginner, it was fun social skiing putting new root combos together and I didnt feel like I was missing much with the conditions. I thought about hitting the Killington-Pico traverse and checked out the entrance, it wasnāt roped but didnāt look inviting either so will save it for another time. Mrs S made the best of her time The forecast had changed from rain/mix to snow and it started coming down hard during apres. Sunday morning woke up to a coating of slush but at Pico they had reported 9ā. Got there at opening to 10ā or so of thiiiiick snow. Tracked out the lower mountain solo while waiting for the summit lift to spin. The heavy snow was a lot of work, took a quick break followed by a few more down low then got word that the summit lift had opened. The snow was a little better up high, one of my favorite trails anywhere is Summit Glades and lapped that until my legs were cooked. The intermittent wet snow and sleet changed to full on nice snow after lunch. I went back out to do a few more summit runs with our friend but visibility was bad and I had no gas left in the tank so I skiād right past the summit loading area to call it a day. Ended the trip with a nice dinner pit stop at Rip VanWinkle Brewing.1 point

We're staying in Park City because my friends have never been there and wanted to go. There's no easy way to get anywhere else and nothing is on Epic Pass except PC which is sorta lame. Would check out Deer Valley but $279, yikes! Some day I'll go Ikon and do a skifari to all those mountains on Cottonwood Canyon and Powda Mt. So far been to Brighton & Snowbasin which were grate.1 point

Youāre going to Utah, thereās much better places to ski than Park City. Iād at least stick to the Canyons.1 point

They better not close razors this weekend for the race team or for ski patroller training. Yeah now the more I think about it @AirheadD8 might be right they might blow some gak early next week and shoot for the moon and then people will quote an early 2000s movie starring Will Ferrell where he goes back to college and becomes some sort of space cowboy.1 point
