Get on some wide skis and go fast and use a lot of power in your turns and you should be just fine getting through the mashed potatoes..in a typical warmer ski season you're gonna encounter spring conditions a lot so might as well work on your mashed potato skiing. Get forward and power through them.

Checking out the Beltzville Lake cam... It looks like there is a buoy pop which could indicate a potential storm around New Years Day +/- a day or two. Keep your eyes on it.

I have been slacking, so thanks for keeping up with that.  i just glanced at a post on FB that said "active weather pattern" ahead.
