toast21602 Posted November 23, 2019 Report Posted November 23, 2019 Went for a quick run after work to beat the darkness. Caught this nice view while crossing the river. One of my favorite views in Bethlum. 8

Barb Posted November 27, 2019 Report Posted November 27, 2019 Little urban skiing today. I had read on FB that some people skied some of Sanitas. I took my dog up there for a hike first to check it out. Saw 4 people out and some tracks. So I took him home and got my skis. Strapped them to my pack u til I walked up to the start of the valley trail where it is essentially a fire rd. Skinned up that a bit and followed someone’s tracks up the hill. Snow was so deep, the deepest I have ever skinned, was challenging. It was only maybe 200’ of vert. Powder to my knees, managed to find one rock that almost knocked me down. Was very cautious after that. Not gonna count it as a ski day but pretty freaking fun!Pics make it look much flatter than it was. Should have taken one from the bottom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 9
Shadows Posted November 27, 2019 Report Posted November 27, 2019 In a million years boulder is going to be in the mountains right? Just get pushed up the flat irons?
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted November 27, 2019 Report Posted November 27, 2019 Barb it counts as a ski day. 1
Barb Posted November 27, 2019 Report Posted November 27, 2019 Ok Doug, if you say it’s legit I will count it.

Barb Posted November 27, 2019 Report Posted November 27, 2019 (edited) To be honest, I think you did! Couldn’t bring myself to drive with the hordes of people to Eldora today but knew I wanted to get out. It takes a lot of snow to fill in where I was skiing, so doubtful it will happen again soon. Shadows Posted November 27, 2019 Report Posted November 27, 2019 Lots of people dont even ski at mtns. Too hardcore.
