Senate and Assembly committees today advanced legislation to legalize marijuana for adults 21 and up to the floor of the Legislature for a full vote.3 points

I think the distinction here is most of us never cared enough to even realize that Blue is using stock photos on their webpage. I don't even know what some of Blue's competition's webpages look like or if they also use stock images and I also don't care if they do/don't.3 points

I think we can all agree it is stupid to do. Lots of smaller hills do it and it is stupid. What is even more stupid are the people who think that it actually looks like that, and the biggest idiots of them all are the assholes who think they should be sued.2 points

you guys are ridiculous. had any mountain other than blue used a pic from a different mountain, you would have completely roasted them and rightfully so (imagine the shitstorm if CB did this). but cause blue did it the nut sucking brigade comes out with their capes on lol2 points

That's a bit extreme. Does your band use imagery similar to that of Beatles?2 points

Another reason I love the bottom lodge. Just bring your skis in with you. I also have a ski lock I use for my bike. I guess I should get it off the bike and put in my ski bag.1 point

The 2nd week in December is looking good for some non-stop snow making if the long range forecast holds. Would likely see the 6pack open late that weekend on the 8/9th or sometime mid-week. Hopefully it holds.1 point

Wasn't open at 9:30am on Sunday. That's a far bigger offense than using a stock photo on their website.1 point

I had a brand new ski lock still in the package in my garage. I just opened it, put in a code and stuck it in the pocket of my ski jacket. I promise I will use it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Wow Tanner Hall is making a comeback. I saw his documentary he’s a badass. https://freeskier.com/stories/tanner-hall-freeride-world-tour?fbclid=IwAR2IOeokaAtNzbGsubCqdAeFrpGOzalWLy8GHXP7UvbColNMqwuBDShCC0U1 point

We have mountains opening up every weekend, trip reports being posted, media being posted and just had a fantastic "beautiful spring day" in NOVEMBER(!!!) Yet the only thread with any traction is a fucking thread created by an inside troll and somebody bitching about nonsense. WTF??1 point

Saturday morning will be nice conditions just like yesterday morning and not supposed to rain until afternoon. Blue can last a solid 2-3 weeks without snowmaking. I hope you like midway and Main Street cause that’s what we’ll be skiing and riding for weeks.1 point

I was impressed with blizzards when I tried them. Very nice skis1 point

Blue didn't create that photo just like you didn't create those shirts. You still wore them to advertise your band. Just like Blue used the picture to advertise the mountain. Same thing no?1 point

I dont really know if there is a superstar weather app. I guess it depends sort of what you are looking for, short range, or long range, and by long range i mean a week. Accuweathers 90 day outlook is a joke. i watch the weather alot for work. I usually compare 3 sites, accuweather, weatherbug, and weather underground(same as accuweather btw). If all 3 say its going to rain tomorrow, its pretty likely that will happen. if they all sort of show something different, then roll the dice, pick one. I am pretty sure those three base their forecast off of different models. Dark sky is kind of a cool app. Forecast Adviser is interesting, being it shows the accuracy of different sites. EPAWA is kind of interesting. Problem with weather apps and such is how often they are updated throughout the day.1 point

I thought your modus operandi was to wait for everyone to drop and then take a different trail1 point

Rode at the Bush today. We opened up to the top today. There’s been a ton of natural snow already this season, so most of the mountain off Heaven’s Gate is open. I got to hit first tracks on Birdland. The snow was dense, but I didn’t hit anything. It’s always great painting on a blank canvas. It got frigid later in the day, and lots of stuff got snirty, but to be on the natural terrain this early is unheard of.1 point
