I hope tomorrow those VIP lines go right up to the end of the inside lanes. Otherwise there's not much point.

I think he's talking about BMR, not lessons. I don't think anyone has an issue with lessons cutting lines, that simply makes sense with the outrageous amount of money lessons cost. BMR, on the other hand, should not be allowed to cut lines.

Rode from 9 to 11, c1er and Oz in the house otherwise empty didn't even see BFG's crew. Main was hard stiff resonator cord with odd debris piles, lazy and dis held softer turns and the big right was in good shape to slut it up. Headwall of coming soon was also pretty firm but smooth enough that it didn't matter. The dis runout continues to confound the beginners which at the very least is fun to watch. I would imagine there will be an hour or two where it's perfect hero snow as it was slowly getting softer. It was pretty quiet overall but you can tell there are more people early, I imagine this weekend with be quite busy. Skied with a dude named Jack on armadas, he was keen perhaps to make aquanticies so if he shows up here he's legit.

I hate long lift lines, but I also hate paying all that money for camp for my kids and them not getting an adequate number of laps in to lurn sumthin. If they were in camp on Sunday last week instead of Saturday I honestly would have wished they kept them in the little Frontier learning area

Very good to see Blue making an effort! Complaining does seem to help. Hopefully they'll implement something in the new 6 for grouping, if it's seriously crowded.

Hey All, It’s almost another weekend, is anybody planning on skiing Blue mountain the true mountain? Looks like a short but heavy rainfall ending early Saturday AM followed by slowly dropping temperatures but still well above freezing..then Sunday looks like 30mph winds wooooo…hold onto your hat.. Then Monday is MLK day and 8am opening..so could be a nice three day weekend…fun fun fun.

What's even more radical is that Camelback has girls in bikinis any day you want them. You just have to ski to the express on the far end and then walk the long corridor to the surfing area. Best resort in Poconos!

Blue should have opened up widowmaker at the beginning and given that to BMR the entire time instead of pissing on Raisins that one time, only to have it end up in the retention pond.

They have dedicated season pass lines but they also upped their cattle chute game all around. They had pleeb chutes setup at like 910 on the new sixer which is good for them.

Fuck those snooty little brats. They pissed me off last Sunday big time. Closing trails on the busiest day of the year and jumping the lift gates every run right onto the chairs.

I punched a French guy and broke my pinkie finger at Camelback. I think I told that story already.

After last weekend I’ll pass until more trails are open

I’m kinda jaded from blue after sunday’s debacle and the insane amount of people on the trails on Monday. There is a 40% chance I’ll be there tomorrow at some point but not for opening. I should be there sat and sun though, or maybe just tomorrow and Sunday, but def Sunday, so who knows

28” so far this week at Jackson hole..snowing now and snow in the forecast after month long dry spell. New terrain opening by the hour.

Always had a great view of them from chair 6. That was as close as I would want to get. Climbing Mt Marcy with a full pack on was one of the stupider things I’ve done.

Whiteface? Was he going to run the slides? Have you run them? Think a beacon is my son’s next bday present.

I tend to recognize people more by their ski technique and gear rather than their face.

There are some people I know exactly how they ski…but most are unpredictable…anybody skiing like 85% of my speed or more that’s hogging the trail or skiing side by side with somebody, I’ll just hold back a little which then makes me feel a little less safe cause then I’ll get passed by mofos even straight lining rentards sometimes Somebody who I won’t name because he lurks, will purposely hold back a few seconds at the top so he can go balls to the walls and pass everybody..I’ve noticed so now will hold back even more and watch the fuckery from behind.

I hate passing 'cause I can never time it properly, esp. if someone goes edge to edge, or if that someone is on a board who's moving like some brownian particle. What I lately found works the best is the contrarian approach. You aim to hit the guy, and by the time you get close, he'll invariably make another turn and clear the way.

I kinda from time to time want to ask... Do you ever speak in court? And if or when you do, and if you speak the way you write, is the judge as surprised as the BMR you're passing on slopes?

Lessons you cut the line because it's almost always timed and you pay out the ass plus it's assumed the instructor will fill chairs. BMR are a necessary evil I think, too much money for them to turn down and I do like going by them as they don't get passed alot so they are always surprised. My absolute favorite is when they are dicking around mid lower main strung out horizontaly like Christmas lights. You get the motor going and from the very top just go straight at them, do not deviate do not for even the billionth of a second unsquare your body from the fall line, go faster and faster directly at them and watch them squirm. You want to have a confab every 10 turns gtfo the trail or at least line up and down the hill. Someone I know used to like to use them and ski patrol on challenge as gates, one time he got so close going so fast I swear the dude pooped his pants. Good times

I'll have to check next time I go, maybe I'll write a report on their V.I.P. lines.

I'm just glad to see some improvement, I'm sure it will be nuts to butts but some simple things will really help. Interested to see if they are ready tomorrow, all week they've been good but it's easy when it's empty.

i think ikoners are not passholders. i think they will need to work on that, but i'm on board with the changes at least from this side of the internet.

Did everyone download the Camelback app?? Blue Mountain doesn't have an app. This is radical! The app gives gapers I mean "Pros" some tips on how to navigate around the resort to get from their New York City condos to the perder. I'll be long long gone before they arrive thanks to being a VIP with First Traax.

Just join BMR, then you can ski something besides Midway!!!

Here's the BMR race schedule for this year to take away Nile Mile and or Razors when it opens from the public. Saturdays and Sundays from 8 to 1 then then have the following school nights too. Monday Tuesday Wednesday and fucking Thursday. Really not cool....

Skied today from 11-3, then nice parking lot session. Snow was nice, just a little sugary at the bottom. Main Street and TCS were runs of the day. So nice to lose the crowds that have been present since they opened. Hope every Ikon pass holder in a 300 mile radius has used all their passes at Blue.

Just wrapped up a quick sesh to stretch the legs and test the body. Did 4 runs. Everything is still soft. First two runs down main were nice and rippin but lower main had washboard rollers. Coming soon was closed initially and then the rope drop and it was rutted up like crazy from BMR but as always the skiers right was nice and the ditch was gettable. No real crazy lift lines dispite the number of busses across the street. Also turns out the new Blue strategy to handle them is to yell rudely at everyone to load chairs full. I think that’ll work…

Yup just like @toast21602 hot and cold…and like a Katie Perry song…some days are good some days are bad. Shit just today I’ve been happy and pissed off several times. C’est la vie you take the good you take the bad you take them both and then you have the Facts of Life…no @theprogram4 this morning which is rare. Yeah I fucks with the Beatles no big dealio…and loving some of the Tik Toks coming out of the Bronx…

Just got back from a short later afternoon sesh at Blue The True. Snow was getting a bit sugary but still had moisture content. Just lapped lazy, upper main, and vista to miday to the park a bunch of times. All in all JADIP. Snowmaking conditions looking superb for next week!
