I’ve been away from this place for a week and it looks 100x better. They are pushing out Razors/back, lower park, Central Park, and blowing on NMDW, Switchback, and still parts of Razors along with other random fan guns. Challenge is a nice addition and WidowMaker is open as well. I guess the only things not being targeted right now are Sidewinder and Lower Sidewinder? Conditions were decent this morning compared to other Blue Mountain days. Challenge was cookies but then it was closed for a few race team elites. Everything else was 7/10 for grooming and snow quality. Flurries were flying all morning and it was cloudy. Called it quits at 10:00 before I have to head in to work. Me and my Junior All Mountain team kids at Loveland on Saturday. Got on the snowcat and caught the rope drop on Velvet Hammer. It was pretty sweet!

You should email the PPL guy and get their side.

They should've just increased ticket prices by $3 and nobody would've even noticed...

So, JFBB did confirm that vouchers bought before Jan 1, will not have a surcharge. New ticket sales will have the $3 surcharge. They stopped communicating with me when i asked why other mountains serviced by PPL were not issuing a surcharge.

All the open trails were in good shape today, Main St. and lazy were excellent. Got one run on challenge before it closed. Upper and lower sidewinder were the only trails that are still grass. The snow produced by the gun at the intersection of Paradise and Dream weaver is extra sticky.

Dreamweaver 2008-09 season...nightmare 2009-10 season.

If given the opportunity to pay a few extra bucks and stay on site for a wedding I'm doing it every time. Getting bused to and from a venue sucks.

Hey All, I’m back from a fun night sesssion at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot around 640pm and in the house were Atomic Jeff, Shadows, Steve(guy who brewed beer for sausage Sunday) and Johnny Law. The temperature was in the upper 20s to start and fell into the lower 20s during the session The snowmaking cannons were blasting on Razors, nightmare-dreamweaver, switchback, tubing, Widowmaker and Central Park...lower park is just about ready and razors is just about ready as well. Challenge is now open and was in ok condition for its first day..the cookies were pushed to the sides and it was pretty much frozen granuler but smooth. Main Street was nice on the top slick in the middle and nice lower. Lazy had pretty much packed powder and paradise had the best snow and we were even treeated to fresh cord one run on the right side. I skied a total of 10 runs between 7-840..4 paradise, 3 main streets, 2 lazy to the falls and one challenge. After skiing we hung out in the lot until just about 10 had some beers and ended up being just about the last people there since they close at 9 early in the week. All in all pretty good skiing and good fun. I’ll be back Thursday night and looking like there could be some pow pow on friday morning. JADIP

Why am I the only person that remembers anything. Root the season ski patrol aired was the year the ski patrollers at Blue were the worst 2008-09 and that was also your first season regularly skiing at Blue. Remember you carpooled up to blue on Root Friday with Hardline from Alpinezone. That’s back when you were a gaper.

Pretty sure it always has been until racing moved to Razors/Razorback. It was still raceway in 2008.

Saw this on instagram earlier...apparently JFBB has been handing out these cards with ticket purchases? It explains why someone on here had to pay $3 (or whatever it was) on top of the their voucher. I don't think it's right for JFBB to be airing their dirty laundry and making it their customer's problem.

Yup, now that the eagles are over that opens up my sundays, unfortunately the flyers play at home the first 3 Saturday’s in February and then the 4th Saturday is the outdoor game.

So does that mean we’ll see you at Blue sometime soon?

We aren’t in slower lower Delaware. A lot of weddings do have a bus that goes from the reception to the hotel my sisters did and multiple people puked in it. The deposit went up in smoke like dust in the wind. Can stay at the ramada inn in Whitehall. The hookers might be cheaper than the room.

If I was solo that works out. Problem is wife and 2 kids ski as well. I emailed JF. They said all tickets purchased before Jan. 1 will not be charges a surcharge

After an awesome perfect trip in terms of travel, we had a slight delay out of ORD because of an antenna issue and ended up departing about 20 minutes late. Near Slippery Rock, PA the cabin altitude started to climb indicating a pressurization issue. We descended at ~4000ft/min down to 10,000 ft. Some worried passengers, but all I cared about was that we didn't divert 😂

Since i was in utah, i wasnt watching data from the beltsville bouy. The diaper exploded at high alttitude on sunday. Look for some precip, maybe even our favorite kind this weekend. Might wanna be clearing your schedule for pow skiing or getting the arc ready.
